Hope he sticks but either way, not worried about one CB recruit. Miami is and always has been one coach away from dominating and there is no shortage of talented DBs in our backyard every year.
Tennessee, unfortunately for them, is stuck in the middle of the SEC now and they've already exhausted most of their boosters with nothing to show for it.
They are slightly better than Kentucky but worlds away from Bama, LSU and Florida.
Unless they are prepared to go full Ole Mi$$, they wont be doing much in the next four to five years.
I agree ..
+1, I definitely would not be happy losing byrd, but you have to put each recruitment in perspective. The only thing helping TN in this situation is Larry Scott not his room mate. They were fortunate that Larry already had a relationship with the young man. Otherwise he wouldn't even visited. Let's hope the kid makes the best decision and sticks with Miami. Better depth cart, easier for his family to see him, and be a part of something special that is about to take place.
Mr Quarterman, you were pretty confident that Byrd would stick last week. What has changed? Are you basing your opinion off of what you've read off here or something else you heard.
