Tyler Baron - Part 2

Someone showed a clip of him whiffing on a tackle and everyone has based their opinion on that.

Right after I responded, I saw your post. 100% truth. Tennessee-Florida, he misses a tackle on the running back.

Oh so typical CIS.

Walker has 184 career tackles/11 TFL/2 sacks/1 INT with 12 passes defended. He has played in over 40 games with Georgia Tech and Tennessee. We wouldnt want to add that to a safety room where are starters in game 1 is Jaden Harris and potentially a true freshman? Or Markeith Williams with virtually no experience.

Oh and he is 6'1 204.

This from earlier in his career:

Appeared in 10 games … Made five starts at nickel back … Ranked fourth on the team with 48 tackles and four pass breakups … Had multiple tackles in all 10 games and made at least five stops in 6-of-10 contests

Wait then i found this:

Accumulated 185 tackles – 112 solo – with 11.0 tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, 12 pass breakups and three forced fumbles in his career, including his time at Georgia Tech … According to PFF, is the highest graded returning safety in the SEC in 2023 at 77.5.

What???????? Highest returning safety in SEC? An we have no spot because of Marketih Williams?
Maybe there’s some off field issues

I’ve never seen Baron play. Never heard of his brother and definitely never seen him play.

But I’ve aggregated the positive and negative comments about his brother, adjusted them for PRS (poster reputation score) and feel strongly that we should take them both

On paper **** ya take both of em! Has to be a reason the safety isn't getting any looks I have a feeling he wouldn't be good for locker room or something of that nature. Only reason I can think of. Hes a proven player what would it hurt him coming in an either takin a spot or give us some experience depth at a position of need! I dp think moving Powell back there the Safety room will look alot different. Patterson, Willams, Harris even Richard's! Either way we good

Not saying this to you in particular, but just in general.

People tend to forget that there are some other considerations on the "85" number. For instance, maybe a couple of months ago, we were anticipating NOT having Elias Rudolph as one of the 85, but as of now, after his hard work in the classroom, it looks like he will be enrolling soon.

And then maybe there are some other final-final decisions to be made by certain college graduates who may medically retire or otherwise decide not to play football any longer.

Bottom line, maybe we don't want to over-promise (until we know our numbers for certain) if the safety is looking for a ship.

Definitely something weird in play here with the brother. He would be the highest returning graded safety in the SEC had he stayed with TENN. Not sure if it's a locker room/attitude kind of thing, or a grades thing, an NIL thing, a roster spot thing or whatever but with our room at Safety in need of experience, you would think he'd be a slam dunk especially when considering it would all but lock up his brother as well.

I just go back to the fact that seemingly nobody has had any interest in Walker since he entered the portal, despite the resume.

Didn't think so.

It's just funny to watch you work so hard to establish your absolute worthlessness to the world.

Go ahead, I know you'll try to get in the last word. It's expected, I don't really care that you're going to do it.

So nothing on Walker. Thanks for the response.

I've been commenting and conversing on Walker for a while, just not with you.

Don't be jealous that I have no desire to speak with you personally. I know you get salty when people don't respond to your provocations.

I know you'll feel compelled to post yet another snarky response.

Oh I know that and I'm sure he'd either be flaming the take or bemoaning not taking him if/when it ultimately costs us Baron. You can never be wrong if you're always playing the result.
