My question is… this dude is the highest paid player on the team, and his agent is able to get an offer from Bama that easily to entice him to leave after a 5-7 season… how much is Bama paying guys? This is the issue with all this, I love the players making money, but with no transparency this just feels gross. If they’re going to allow this through the schools then the contracts need to be disclosed.

You'd be surprised how much can be fixed with a snappy press conference. We barely know anything, people are catching a lot of feelings on rumors. Just because schools are going after him doesn't means it's been reciprocated. As a few other posters said, the only thing that's going to happen in the locker room is a lot of high fives, and TVD is going to be buying a lot of burgers.
Yep, flip the script on the whole thing. Have a presser or release on socials that your AGENT got approached by some bigtime programs with large offers that made you take a step back and listen. After thinking it through, realized there is no better place to be than the University of Miami and your staying home.

Sell it to recruits as our guys are getting courted hard by the likes of Bama and choosing to be here so no reason they shouldn't be making the same kind of choices.

Cleaning up with teamates a little harder but he he ultimately made the choice to stay with them it will blow over with some time and humility.

TVD reps have some balls to ask for a raise after the disaster of a season we just had. Gattis surely played a part but you don't need a great OC to go out and beat Middle Tennessee State where TVD went 16/32 135 Yards 1TD 2INTs... On top of that he hasn't won one big game for us yet.
You sound like a butthurt Alabama fan

Haven't heard from UM, but NIL people are telling me he's back and I know @Sebastianspipe is plugged in.
Do you get the sense that other players would be upset with him considering transferring (or at least using that as leverage) or would they say 'good for you' for getting (or at least trying) to get paid more?
