Sure. These kids talk. If he’s just trying to get his money enough kids probably know. And if it’s somewhat murky, let’s be real, 96% of thee kids would do the same. It’s a business now. It’s NFL. It’s different.

We all need to zoom out and take a breathe and look at it from a business perspective. The game has changed.

Btw the reason you’re the only one I’ve replied to in this thread is you’re one of the few people who’s perspective I respect. I enjoy dialoguing with you.

same source also said Zion nelson may portal out. idk how true any of it is tbh and it is open season so may the best NIL win
Zion Nelson can hit the bricks. This guy is out the door the next time he gets any game tape and he won't be ready to start the season...someone else can enjoy a few games of above average pass blocking. One of the most overrated players by our fanbase I can recall. Some jabrone comes up with a way too early mock draft that has this guy in the first round and it seems this fan base agreed, despite him being the worst starting offensive lineman we've ever seen his freshman year. And, to his credit, he's an athletic big man that developed into an above average pass blocker on one of the worst offensive lines in the nation, but will be coming off an injury that has kept him without any meaningful practice or gym time in over a year and a half. Cool.

Before Ruiz got involved the team was in the middle of season that resulted in an elite 8. He didn't get interested until he saw that team win games. At least publicly. I don't remember LifeWallet shelling out cash to get transfers from George Mason(Miller) and Depaul(Charlie Moore). All that to say, the team that started the resurgence wasn't a Ruiz creation from all public indications and L would find away if Ruiz went away tomorrow.

So it is your contention that after the date that NIL became "legal" (July 1, 2021), Mr. Ruiz was supposed to get into a time machine to go back in time to when Jordan Miller signed with Miami (April 13, 2021) and Charlie Moore committed to Miami (April 19, 2021) in order to offer them NIL money to transfer to Miami?

Fascinating.

And why do you think that Jordan Miller and Charlie Moore were NOT given NIL money after July 1, 2021 after they had already transferred to Miami? I mean, you seem to have inside information on Mr. Ruiz not having any interest or anything to do with Miami basketball prior to the Elite 8 run.

I'm all ears.

Your confidence in him is pretty amazing. Your hyperbole about him starting at virtually every school in the US, including the SEC, must make it true.

Show me all your other posts extolling his virtues. Because you must’ve said this before? Right?
I actually have haha go through my comment history.

Doesn’t make what I say right, it’s message board BS and my own opinion. I understand everyone’s up in arms about this but TVD is objectively a very talented QB and definitely better than anyone at Bama right now

Apparently you didn’t understand my post. If he doesn’t play at Bama how has he helped himself. Just read what I wrote. I said he would’ve had to have been guaranteed a starting position.

Being better at football is irrelevant. Are you telling me he wants to sit on the bench and watch Bama go 12-0 so he can cheer for them.

Your point makes sense. We don’t know what Tommy Rees told him. Maybe it’s health and money… not wanting to rebuild…

I will say it was a massive mistake to crown him QB1 last season… I didn’t like it then. I don’t like it now…

Big programs are scared of this program building up so they will continue to try and rape and pillage us to keep us down. All so they can continue to raid S FL in recruiting. They want to continue to come down here and cherry pick top recruits but know it will get much harder if Miami is good. That is the hidden agenda to weaken Miami. Even Saban is scared of Mario joined with Miami getting good due to his recruiting prowess that Saban himself proclaimed.

Still doesn’t make sense, unless he’s just looking for short term money.

If his dream is to play in the NFL, he puts it at risk without a guaranteed starter commitment from Alabama.

This is classic CIS.

An insider confirms potentially BAD news and then dips for a few hours to allow 20 pages of bickering, finger pointing and conspiracy theories.

Great for clicks.

This is where I give Cribby tons of credit. He never does a “hit & run” but sticks around to address the situation and share other tidbits without betraying confidences.
To be fair, it's not CIS. We use CIS to facilitate this just as we do when we get our hopes up about any big time recruit that wore Canes gloves or socks in a photo.

Not to mention that almost anything IS actually believable when it comes to our beloved program. The trick is to drink just the right amount of peach schnapps and vermouth to stay emotionally unaffected.

Exactly. I'm of the mindset that TVD's ceiling is some version of a poor man's Kent Graham sooooo perhaps running to a program like Baga makes sense to mask what you really are under that institutional shine.....until one realizes that Tommy Rees is running the show on offense there.

We can excuse Mario's gaffe with Gattis based on his misleading resume but Mario's infatuation with Rees (second only to his with Jason Candle) was always concerning to me.

Baga is always going to be Baga....until Sabag starts making really lazy hires like he just did on both sides of the ball there.

That said, I'm getting numb to all this. Wake me up when the Green Lot opens prior to the Miami (OH) game.
Yea his scheme is not QB friendly we seen it for years at ND. It's good for backs, OL, and TE. Bama trying to get back to the style of ball control offense that they had when Saban first got there

I mean it's cool to blame Gattis and yea that's part of it. But dude was missing wide open wrs last year like wiiiiidddde open. I don't think the OC is throwing the ball. Y'all already know I'm not high on TVD but that's just me. I can't speak for everyone. But tbh right now it's easier to trick an NFL team with bamas talent.

He’s played behind zero o line with limited WR talent outside of Rambo and has still managed to produced…TVD beats out and starts at 98% of the schools in the country. Maybe 5 schools he doesn’t walk into and start at automatically and Bama isn’t one of them

There are 4-5 teams t in the ACC alone he doesn't walk in and automatically start at: UNC, Duke, FSU and Clemson for sure, with at least another couple of toss ups.

I'm a huge TVD guy, but you are grossly overvaluing him
