Travis Hunter

I've kinda seen you post types before but I'm confused. If you don't mind, can you explain why the year ending grade is so high when his weekly defensive grades don't seem to support the final grade? I know I'm missing something obvious but I just can't tell what it is? Does the coverage grade carry a heavier weight or something?

He was the #1 guy coming out of high school. He could have played real competition with elite talent like him. Instead he played weak competition at FCS out of high school just to be with Dione. Then instead of playing real D-1 ball he went to Colorado again with Dione. He doesn't play a real D-1 school all year but he wins the Heisman. I just don't agree that he deserved the Heisman for ducking real athletic competition because he followed Deion. Play true D-1 if you want the Heisman. Was a travesty he won.
The Big 12 is just as good, if not better, than the ACC.

The other grades are total Defense, which includes tackling & run support.

The Coverage grade, is just just Coverage on his weekly matchups against WR's in both Man & Zone.

Thanks for sure. What's the defense grade mean then? I mean, if it's not coverage, tackling, or run support.

And for those that didntr realize or question if he was a south florida kid.

1,380 snaps (670 on offense, 686 on defense, 24 on special teams) that averages out to be 115 per game.

That alone is insane. There's some people that can go out and do that for sure, but at such a high level? To be able to bring it on every play defensively, that's the hardest part of all of those snaps.

**** of a player and if one thinks otherwise, I'm sorry, you're just flat out wrong.

Hunter reminds me of Ohtani because, on top of the talent, he is so locked in on his sport.

The word generational is overused but these guys are doing things we haven’t seen in generations.

I mean, he is a "two way player" after all...

I appreciated the Travis Hunter show for what it was. He's the past now. The league will dictate his future position. God bless him. I hope he learns to manage the media better. Colorado is going to take a few steps back next season. That is about all I got.

Yes he is. His mom moved him to GA. I played ball with his entire family. He was on the sidelines and along with steen on the eagles crazy to seee them grow up.

Imagine if X or Jacolby could do what they did at WR and also solve our cb problems. We would build them a statue

People tend to project their dislike of Deion onto Hunter. Unless I've missed something, all he's done is go out there and do his best without being obnoxious about it.

If he was anywhere but Colorado, people would love him.
i think peopel do like him. CIS doesnt like him bc he plays for deion and this board acts like deion slept with their spouses

Dude plays offense full-time and then proceeds to just play the most difficult position on the football field on a level that qualifies him to be either CB1 or CB2.

Imagine being a Top 2 prospect at WR and CB AT THE SAME EXACT TIME and people go "nah, he ain't all that".

People dislike Deion, and so do I, but every time I see Hunter in an interview, I see someone trying to be great and be serious with his craft. Something that a few players on this program could replicate...
