Baker I believe was LSU runner up last year. Maybe he gets the job this year. Replace with Robinson. Problem solved.

My scenario realistic “dream” scenario:

Bye Baker
Bye Rumph

Patke LB Coach
Banda DC
T-Rob DB coach/co-DC
Bring in a ST coach (monster recruiter)

Exactly. Enos firing was performance related and the obvious move to make.

Moving on from Rumph is less obvious. Does Manny have the balls to make this move? Would love to see it but I doubt it.

I generally agree with you El, but Banda as DC and TRob as CB coach is a Phucking slap in the face and demeaning. TRob was already DC and very good CB coach and recruiter. Yet like always when it comes to Brothers you find some reason to give the Coordinator position to like kind/relationship person and offer the Brother something less. WTF makes you think making Banda DC necessary to "appease" everyone? When will hiring the best personnel be priority and not be based on giving "friends like kind" and relationships key coordinator positions?
 
Clean house on the defensive side aside from Banda. Bring me Muschamp as DC and TRob as CB coach. Manny won’t do it because he’ll never give up full control of the defense but I guarantee that staff would kill it the recruiting trail and the development of players.

Man keeping people happy is overrated. Get qualified coaches for their positions. That’s what our top opponents do.

T Rob great. No idea on if Banda can be a DC. Do not want Patke at LB. Do not need Rumph. People can move their loyalties to the new guys.

This is issue with hiring former canes who arent really qualified, samething happened with Kehoe, was very hard to let him go because we are nice guy school and he cant get hired anywhere else but high school asst ol coach.. Former players get in uproar even tho it would upgrade position and puts program in best position.. If Rumph is as good as some say he will have a job before he even packs, even the prior db coach gets gigs, rumph should be fine right? RIGHT?!

Are these former players forking out tons of money to help the program? If not, I'm sorry but they should have no say whatsoever.

All I know is as a DC Trob has been really bad. Look at the numbers. But as a cb coach and recruiter is where he excels.
