Transfer Season 2018

I know this wasn’t directed at me but McArthur has received a big come up this offseason. Got the starting QB and two starting WRs from South Broward. Among others. They’re up there to win that district I think, if they can gel.
Okay, thanks!! Looks like the Da Ridge got there fair share..

@LibertyCityEl.. What schools benefitted during school transfers for this season??
MNW, Southridge, Central, Deerfield, STA & AH.

MNW absolutely loaded up on both sides of the ball, they got QB Velez from Miami High, RB/WR Rayquan Berry from Gables, LB Leslie Smith (2019 Pitt commit), 2020 WR Kahlil Brantley from Doral, DT/DE Georell Kid from Hallandale, LB Jarule Harris from Hallandale, Terrence Lewis Jr from BTW, 2021 CB Antwan Massie from BTW (young Bandy), Jacop Baptiste from Archbishop & another QB Adrian Glasgow don't remember what school.

The Ridge got RP3, Marcus Fleming from Miami High & Tyrique Stevenson, as well as the 2020 QB from VA.

Central got Henry Gray from Miramar & couple other defenders. STA got Ingraham from Dillard, Huff from MacArthur, Jovan Ferguson from BTW & a bunch of other kids they always steal from Broward schools lol

Kid can sling it. I saw him at the camp in June and yesterday. Under the radar guy.

Romello & Kahlil certified ballers. They did well yesterday too.
Romello Brinson the Freshman phenom gonna blow at WR this year.

Lost Avery Huff and this week Dontae Lunan for no apparent reason to STA. Lunan likely is a back up at STA. Didnt even really need the qb...but their offense should be smoking this season. My alma mater.

STA likely got the best transfers. They have a group of transfers that transferred over to be...BACKUPS that were starters at their previous schools.

Carol City apparently has made a move this summer too...and who i hear they got, they may have that district in trouble. 2 transfers that our current commits

Can you say who they are? If you can't cool I'm just curious bc I know that there's a school that's losing kids recently by the boatload. They have a couple kids that are UM commits that I think are gonna transfer.

What in the entire f*ck is this corny nonsense? SMH

Yeah I'd like to thank my coaches as I stab them in the back.

Championships are built in a single off-season now. There's no more 3+ year program building process. Just go find you some coaches that hang around high school kids every week, doesn't matter if they can coach a lick, and you'll get enough transfers to win games.

Pretty much. Sad thing is it’s just as bad on the optimist level. Pretty much why i got out of coaching. #sflcesspool

All this transfer stuff is mind boggling to me @Coach Macho. I graduated from McA in '75 and transfers were not an option. Excuse my ignorance as I've been out of SoFla for some time, but when did all this crazy sh*t start? Back then, we all played together starting in optimist ball straight to the HS that you were assigned to.

Thats whats currently taken place. Keep in mind these are the bad optomist coaches now holding the power as they are striving for the high school coach jobs currently. The 7 on 7 crap makes it worse...but its currently a free for all in south florida. Legitimately how can you even build a program..as the minute you get the younger kids offers, st thomas or others come knocking. I have never in my life seen this amount of kids leave Archbishop Mcarthy for places like MNW and St thomas...Like what?? Archbishop Mcarthy is getting poached. Mcarthur won like 1 game last year and got poached for 4 of their best players. **** im surprised they fought back and recruited back. Hallandale has been Carol City's JV for the last 3 years...its crazy lol

McArthur fought back bc they have a new head coach and I heard they have a coach or two on their staff with connections.

This whole thing is what I like to call microwave coaches. Just get players every offseason and hope it works. Not very many oven coaches that may take a few years to develop and then the program is solid for years to come.

I saw on another message board that Marc Britt went to Miami Christian bc the Champagnat OC went there. Not sure if true but just what I saw.
