Why J Miller left I’ll never understand. I thought he played well 2nd half of year and would have been In rotation heavily next year

Had the feeling he got picked up by his parents lol.

I recall his dad or something threatening to transfer bc of playing time a few years back.

Terry Roberts is a nice player. If he stays healthy he can bring an adult to the room.

Well, for one he tackles. And the communication issues from last season could be perceived as something other than high IQ. So yeah..

Well i hope he's trying to win something. I believe in MC. I wanna see some urgency. Coaches getting hired left and right. And we sitting here watching bowl games with ALF aka Gatass lmaooo. As i mentioned, i hope this patient style MC is using with his staff moves...pays off this time. All we have is a crappy showing of a 5-7 team who had the most horrendous offensive showing in UM history.

He started at Arkansas , he’s definitely an upgrade over Miller but I’d prefer we find another guy to start, if that thats possible but it would be a great pickup for a rotational guy.

Maybe Nichols not playing brought that change.

Naw. They had a new DC for one game. Arkansas has been one of the most conservative defenses in college football the last two years. Al Golden level

After games this year, I questioned whether he wanted to win games or instill a process… hopefully it pays off over time.

He was just happy to be in the A&M game, that was sad.

I disagree. Looked more like he knew his qb or WRs were uncomfortable in the OFF. So he played field position ball.

And we still had an opportunity to score and tie it up if not for the drop, I believe by Brashard on 4th down.

I'm fine with Nichols as we need depth plus a starter type. I'll take the experience that Roberts brings at CB. We will see where he ends up on the depth chart come fall.

What I really want to ask you is about recruiting WR through the portal. How are things looking there? Are we favored for anyone at this point? We desperately need help at WR. I'm hoping for some good news soon.

If we can establish any type of run game, it’s going to pay dividends no matter who is wr1. I don’t think the wr room as is now is as dire as the board makes it out to be

@JHallCanes Roberts played at Prep and he’s legit. Part of the Prep-Hawkeye pipeline. Would love to see him as a Cane.

Our portal recruiting is underwhelming to say the least. It seems like "waiting" is a theme MC employs throughtout this organization. Lets see if it works this go around?

I will agree some and then disagree if that makes sense. Some good quality with the ones we have brought in but need some more, even better transfers.

I hate them but the Semenholes have gotten some good transfers. Slick Mike's way of building his team but we have seen that it worked out for them last year and it worked for us with Phillips, Osborne, Rambo, etc......

Ours is a solid B- to B at this point, IMO.

I’m a tough grader but with 18 out and the depth issues, we are at Incomplete, but a C if we were entering a grade today.

I may move it down to a C- on a scale that without a WR1, we can earn no better than a B…

Understood but I am hoping people here aren't delusional thinking that all of our wonderful new freshman are going to step up right away and be what we expect them to now vs 2-3 years from now.

Need proven great players to be mixed in with these young bucks.

None of us want to see another 5-7. 6-6,7-5 season again. We want to take that leap of 8-9 wins this upcoming season, we need some proven players.
