It also hurts that they lost their starting Quarterback. We (Clay Chalkville) beat them last year in the 4th round with a State Championship Appearance on the line. Super athletic team. We just made them one dimensional.

Watched him last night from the side lines. Dude looks the part! Pause! He will come down hill and be a force against the run. Didn’t see him in coverage much cause the plan was to run the ball and play defense. They physically look like one of the best teams in Alabama 6A. How they get tested in the playoffs will determine if this is their year. Clay stumbled last night but they always turn it up in the playoffs

6A is going to be really interesting. I didn't expect Oxford to beat Clay. Looks like Oxford is legit. Regarding Merritt, he has good height and he's FAST! Nice tools to work with.

Oxford always looks good during the season and then falls in the playoffs. Parker has to maybe go through Oxford, Clay, Mountain Brook, Spain Park and that’s not even including who comes out the south

That’s because they only have 5 to 7 teams worth a **** the entire state. Central , Thompson, auburn , clay now , piedmont not sure what happened to them . Saraland will win the 6A championship.

Dang it ain’t that bad we got some good teams in the state. Hoover beat Thompson last night. Spain Park got a qb committed to Clemson with an RB with an Auburn offer. Vestavia is down cause they are young. We got some good teams in the state. Clay had a good bout with Mountain Brook. You from here?

Was there for 5 years and you have some good ones but not very many . I know who the good ones are and I know you have some descent ones but wouldn’t say good.. Hoover been down not sure the reason but they have . Saraland , central , auburn , Thompson been the best 4 consistently lately.
 
You have some good athletes just the teams aren’t stacked . I’m not sure how Oxford is only 6 A . They’re a big school and have lot of people coming in

Hoover is becoming like Homewood and Mountain Brook. Price housing pushing out the good players. All my good players are moving for cheaper housing or bigger opportunities for scholarships

Homewood is ridiculous prices for a small house . I figured that Spain park whoever the Hoover school is took talent . Explain opleika . Excuse the spelling , they use to be real good . I lived j. Alabama but followed highschool football for a long time is how I know so much. They use op team use play top schools and do well out of state games
