#1 Why would they give ISU their gameplan of who is playing and when before the game? Just nonsensical.Fine, then let the public know that this is the plan for the game. If you're going to disrespect the bowl, college football and the fans by treating this as a glorified spring scrimmage, then have the decency to explain it to the public. As for the coaches needing to play Emory to see what they have, he's been with the program for 2 years and has played. If they needed this game for verification then they are not doing it right.
#2 There are a million examples of guys playing differently in games than practice. Emory supposedly looked decent in practice and obviously the opposite once real live action was happening.
