Thoughts on how South Carolina HC Shane Beamer handled it?

We needed Emory to play to see what we had. Not sure what is so hard to understand about this. It was a win/win. Got to see Cam play one more time and break the record and then got to see that Emory can never be the guy at Miami.
Than prepare an attack with Emory like you are trying to score points. Coaches didn't do that though.

Analogies are difficult to perceive at times - and of course - one must be familiar with the facts of each event to see the connection.

The clot shots you got are obviously working as designed - don't miss out on the current Bird Flu shot - they're available.

Just a friendly reminder.

The clot-shots you mentioned resulted in my struggling with DVTs for over a year, which eventually led to me having a series of strokes and heart attack, which led to right side of my body never recovering completely, which led to me unceremoniously losing my job and career as an IT contractor to the Fed.
I now suffer from a blood disorder which the hematologist advised no more vaccines going forward, not even for flu or shingles as they barely have a handle on what is going with my immune system and blood.
So, yeah, fk Pharma and their clot shots.

Sorry for thread derailment.

I already knew Emory wasn’t the guy after watching him last season.

But it would of been better for Emory to get the full game, and all the reps in practice if we really wanted to give him a fair shot, and also let Judd Anderson get reps and playing time as well

But make no mistake about it, Mario wanted to win the **** game, and didn’t want to play Emory at all, Cam forced his hand
agree with everything except knowing Emory can never be the guy based off 2 starts as a true frosh. players do grow, mature and get better, it is possible. At worst he should be developed into a quality backup. The coaches didn't play Emory in that game with a plan to see if he can play, just threw him to the wolves.

OH!

So on Cam - you were not piling on and crucifying Cam - you were just CRITICIZING.

Thank you for that clarification.

I'm sure that will make your momma proud.

And thanks for the other clarification - those student athletes PRIOR to 2024/2025 were justifiably considered kids - but suddenly we had some time warp advance - and TODAY those same kids - are suddenly NOT kids - because adults offered them MONEY.

Ho Li Chit.
It’s not about whether they are kids. They are 18-24 years old so clearly they are legal adults. It about whether they are amateurs or professionals.

I know you’re smart enough to understand the difference so you digging in your heels now is only because you don’t want to admit you’re wrong. I’m done engaging with you over this.

I'm terribly sorry you got the shots. Many who did have passed away.

When a cruise ship in Japan had a couple cases and went under quarantine - I contacted my Representative and told him that a team could be there in the next day - and all cases would be resolved in 24 hours. Absolutely, positively. I was told it was not possible.

There was no pandemic. And they lied to the world - but that's all about to be exposed.

I won't aggravate you further. And I'd suggest you NOT get this new bird flu "vaccine."

This current strain of bird flu is the product of gain of function (purpose: greater fatalities), done in the USDA Poultry Research Laboratory in the Athens, Georgia. It's a man-made problem.

It's the circulating clade, specifically clade 2.3.4.4b - the product of the gain of function research. It was assisted by the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and Rotterham University. The gain of function was to alter to spread from chickens to waterfowl or mallard ducks - and that's how its spreading around the world now.

It continually re-infects chicken farms as migratory birds land on farm ponds, and it's passed to other animals on the farm.

Enabled by elements of the Federal Government. Scientists often ask IF they can do something - never SHOULD they do it.

I'd shut down every facility, lab, university, and agency that has anything to do with this BS Gain of Function research - and imprison for life anyone who had any part of this whatsoever.

I wish you luck going forward. They really ****ed you up already, and are tossing out another virus - again. Heads should roll! And maybe soon - they will roll.

Trust me, no more shots for me.
My wife who is a retired nurse had begged me not to take the first 2 clot shots, but I did because I didn't want to lose my job.
Big mistake.
The doctors originally refused to link the shots with my health issues but over time my hematologist admitted that it may wise to avoid all future vaccines.
Thanks for sharing your opinions and appreciate the kind words.

Mario had opted out from corching in 2H...

Would Miami have won the Pop Tarts Bowl?

My opinion is this.

If you're in uniform, you're available to play. If you aren't going to play, then go change and you're welcome to fanboy it up on the sidelines in support of your team.

Standing there, ready to go, knowing you could make a difference, but choose not to, that's lame as ****.

I'm sorry if that hurts some feelings around here, but you're either all in or you're not. I didn't see what Beamer did, but from what others said, I think him and I would be of the same mind here.

Specifically about Cam, if it was about passing the torch, cool. Beyond that, I'm not down with any other excuse. This was still your team and you abandoned it.
Why do folks get so mad when a player does what’s best for their future? Let’s be real, if you’re on the verge of securing $20 million or more in guaranteed money from the NFL, risking it all in a bowl game that doesn’t really matter is just not smart. That’s not quitting; that’s handling your business.

Coaches should always have their players’ backs, especially in situations like this. Forcing someone to play in a game with nothing at stake sends the wrong message, not just to that player but to future recruits watching how you treat your guys. If you’re not protecting your players’ best interests, why would top talent want to trust you?

That tells you everything you need to know about how they feel about Emory. Every game he’s started has looked the exact same. It’s not that deep, they run the ball and limit his passing opportunities for a reason.

You can see with your own eyes that it’s a struggle for him to even complete a single pass. Nothing looks fluid or easy out there. Honestly, I was excited to see Emory come in and take over the second half, but his performance left me with more questions than answers and a pretty bleak outlook.

Now it makes sense why DMoney has been saying nice things about Emory while still hinting that they’re planning to go hard for a portal QB.

So sit out for the entirety of the game. You're either all in that day or you're not. It's really that simple. If you're done midway, get out of that uniform. You already said you're done, so why do you want to sit there ready?

Those that say they don't matter, didn't play or didn't play a while ago. They matter, in particular to those who will be moving into the workforce not named the NFL. It matters to those guys on the OL who blocked their asses off for you all season. It matters to those who paid to go see the game. It matters to the parents who have supported their kids since they played peewee football. It matters to coaches who are paid to win. It matters to some recruits who see a 3 out of 4 late season loss run.

What it doesn't matter is to those who opted out or half assed it, not finishing what they started. Everyone else wanted to win that game, but opt outs have already moved on and don't care enough to play for those who it mattered to.

I get the reasoning to a degree, monetarily, but I'll wait for the list of names that lost tons of money playing or the ability to play again. If this was the playoffs, does that matter enough? What about late season games when the dream of a title of any kind is done? Going for a record, got it, what then?

See, I played in college and this **** is weak AF. I've said it since day one. I also am not here to convince anyone of it, but I'll call it like I see it and explain it if need be. Life will go on, but Cam had nothing to prove with this game. He wanted a record and got it. We used to clown Florida for the Gator Flop which was lame as ****, but it was to get a record. So was his half, so be it. I don't dislike him for it, but I'm not proud of the act. It may cost him a spot or three, guess we'll see.

Lastly, I agree a coach should have tour back. I don't know what Mario knew beforehand, but if he knew nothing, that's BS. If this was the plan all along, say it. If it was for a record, pump that record up.

Naw fam, Cam spotted them a lead and 31 points. The rest of the team have to bring it home. I love my canes but they didn’t get it done.

Well, I understand the 2 games last year for sure but Dawson has been coaching the kid for 2yrs now, or has he? Thats Dawson's job, have a plan to execute an offense with Emory. It would be no different if it was Judd. These coaches recruited these kids
