Thomas USC Visit

Seriously. If I was a highly touted recruit, and I could go to UM ANY time I wanted? **** ya I'd be taking 5 OV's elsewhere for free. U can't beat 5 free vacations...

Different strokes then. If I was a highly touted recruit, and knew I was going to UM, I would be a leader and be at UM on their biggest recruiting weekend of the year trying to help land the uncommitted recruits.

Its truly amazing to me we have kids from Ohio, NJ, and LA trying to recruit South Florida kids to UM

That's not his freaking job man. I really wish you would stop posting this. It's not in his job description to be an ambassador for the University of Miami football program. Not everybody is going to be Duke and it doesn't make them any less of a Cane. He has NO obligation to recruit guys to come to Miami. There are coaches who are being paid very handsomely to convince kids that Miami is a great place to grow themselves as football players and young men.

I am with you. I would want to play with the best and help recruit them.

If he was avoiding Miami, why would he have switched the visit the first time?

Just saying.

@TheStateOfTheU: Remember how Matthew Thomas visited USC this weekend instead of Miami? USC's linebacker coach just left the program.

again, people aren't worried about USC. All I've seen is he's likely to take a midweek visit. Nothing for sure yet

There is poster on the Scout USC forum saying that Thomas is not at USC this weekend. Can anyone confirm that this is accurate?

Re: Huge recruiting weekend at USC

No Thomas this weekend either. That said, I'd be fine with 1 LB in this class, 2 max. I'd be shocked if Hutchings doesn't stick with his verbal and it seems we are doing well with Powell. Plus one of the Robinson twins may project at LB too.

Actually, youre right. What the fack was I thinking? To want the best possible player in our class to be a leader? I should just go put myself in time out and not expect anything out of these kids.

Pete - can you please tell Dobard, Gall, Olsen, and whoever else to please stop recruiting for UM? Evidently its the coaches jobs. Also, please advice Tracey, Deon, and Duke to do the same. Much appreciated sir

The concern is also Alabama. And Thomas has said he WILL take an official to UM. You can take officials durin the week.
