You thought Miami was losing to Gt. before today?

I thought that Miami would lose at some point, especially with the D being what it is. It was a matter of who and when. People forget how difficult it is to go undefeated, even with ELITE talent across the board, which this team doesn't have. Keep in mind, out of our 5 title teams, two lost a game, in one case, in blowout fashion. Schools like Georgia and Alabama don't go undefeated every year and they are significantly more talented with bottomless resources and support.

This team is what it is, Miami is a squad with a top end offense that had their worst game of the season, and a defense that doesn't do anything well and serves as a case study of why advanced analytics can't be fully trusted.

I'm annoyed about today, but the season isn't over. Finish strong and let's see what happens. No matter what, this team has given me some great memories this season and there's more to come. I can't remember the last time I've seen a Miami offense like this, I can't remember the last time Miami had a difference maker like Cam.

Miami can win out, but winning the ACC is crucial. Miami had one loss to give away, and they did that today. That said, the 'Canes still control their destiny. Win out.

Maybe. Maybe not. After today Ole Miss jumps us. uGA will still be above us. Bama/lsu winner jumps us. Lots to play out still. Committee basically said they don’t respect ACC with SmU being left out

Going to have to hope for a Pitt ACC loss. I don’t want to risk 11-1 at large. If we get left out, I could understand honestly

We could easily have 3-4 losses this year. We were playing with fire and eventually got burned.
