This game changed nothing

If we hadn’t lucked out on numerous occasions up until this point we wouldn’t get brutalized nearly as we are now in for. But we haven’t been good enough so far and we have seen nothing from this team to suggest they are positioned to change that…bye week or not.

This loss confirms the negative narrative out there about Miami being a pretender with so many close wins against inferior opponents. To change that, they need to destroy teams on the remainder of the schedule and then win the ACCCG easily.
Well, see there's a problem with that...

If we go 11-1 and miss the acc champ game do they leave miami , cam out of playoffs ?👀 gonna be 1 acc team and 6 sec teams ?!? Lol

What if I told you it was true and not a narrative. We are an good acc team. Nothing more. Anyone unbiased sees that. If our offense plays lights out, we can beat anyone. We can also lose to anyone.

I’m on blaming Cam Ward for this loss. We probably would be a 500 team without him. I don’t understand how Mario and Guidry went into this season believing we were good to go on defense.
They didn’t, they were extremely active in the portal but didn’t land enough. There’s a reason why they are looking to sign a ton of corners and safety help.

Barring Miami going 12-0 and winning by three TDs every week, that narrative was going to be there. Keep in mind, teams like Ohio State, Georgia and others have struggled against crap as well.

It doesn’t really matter. No sign they can fix anything and this team is highly unlikely to win on the road at Syracuse and the ACC Championship. I doubt we are in the playoffs.

He is what he is but how many times has he had to play from behind?

if Pitt wins out if might change everything. No clue if we have the tie breaker on them

Gaby posting that Miami needs SMU or Pitt to lose one in order for Miami to make the ACCG game.
Pitt has Clemson and at Louisville. The other scenario is we finish 11-1 with no ACC title appearance. Odds are 11-1 makes the top 12. I'm banking on Pitt losing another

Win out and you have a bye. Cam Ward will take this loss personally because he knows he missed a few today. This could be a blessing in disguise
Pray we have one of those come to Jesus moments.

I've only seen one team in my life with a ****** defense win it all, and that was in 2009 with the Colts in the NFL, and at leastthey made adjustmentsand turned it up in the postseason. NEVER have I seen in college a team with a dynamic offense and a ****** defense win the whole thing.

Let's just enjoy the season and hope we don't ****nole the thing up next year.

Way to explain away hot garbage football with Whataboutism
