The stadium is just an excuse. We don't have to convince 85 guys to play here every year. Just 25 or so. Plenty of things to sell them on.

Everything is an excuse around here. I realize that we have a lot of things to sell these kids on, but can you deny that SoFla kids who visit other places might get enamored with the gameday atmosphere at a place like Clemson, for example? Everyone gets all offended when kids bail from SoFla to go play somewhere else, but what do we really have that might convince them to stay home? A lot of them don't care about academics. They know that the League will find them if they're any good. What's left to convince them? It certainly isn't the gameday atmosphere.

Understood but I disagree with #2. If you have a recruit, acting like a ****** (Lane), he deserves to be labeled as one. I can understand if people disagree with that, but that's how I feel.

Wait until after signing day.

If a guy like Sony Michel starts having second thoughts, you don't want him to have a negative impression of Miami because of our fans. He is a guy that can make a difference in wins and losses.

Bridgewater cited Miami's "abusive" fanbase as one of the reasons he chose Louisville. The fans said "that shows he isn't mentally tough." He is now considered one of the most mentally tough players in the country, as well as one of the best.

This isn't about what's right or wrong. It's about doing our small part to help this program acquire talent and win games.

I can't accept that a kid would choose to not go to a program because of its fan base. Every fan base has its group of morons that say ridiculous things to or about a kid. That's immature. And weird. I think that these are after-the-fact excuses used to cover up or justify deciding to go elsewhere.

Who cares what u accept, if u guys stood shut and worried about other **** instead of ripping a kid he would be our quarter back now and we would be waaaaaay fkin better. No matter what your opinion is, those fans need to think before they type and if they have nothing good to say dont say ****. Dont say good luck dont say we wish u well, just stay fkin quiet.

Other fan bases have it but home grown kids have more pressure, **** I rather leave home if Im taken heat for vsiting other fkin places. Its different when its your home school fans attacking u. It makes kids say *** it imma go to fsu and whup miamis ***. And thats whats happening its reality. So if u wanna stay a medocre program then go ahead and attack kids. If u wanna win and get kids to stay home and be the beast program we are suppose to be then STFU.
