Coley, Brown, Ice, Baez, and Beard and we struggle with the basics. Does not scound right.

crazy the amount of talent that is always in south florida, hopefully next coach can take advantage of it.
 
Years and years of recruiting failures. Add that to Golden failing to get wins on the field. 4 years into the job and your failing both on and off the field. Calling this anything other than a disaster is blasphemy.

IMO this is were Butch was light years ahead of anyone, yes he would love to have all the high rated players, but he could identify 5star talent out of a 2star athlete

Offer Archer, and all this possibly goes away with Scarlett.... if he atill takes his visit, we have a chance...if not, another epic fail by our staff... should have kept recruiting Cronkrite regardless
 
Not suprised about the scarlett ****. He was never that interested in miami until fsu put his *** on the backburner.

He was listing ucf and fau as schools in his top 3 **** he commited to fau before miami.

He wants to go to fsu but with cook there and them treating him like a side ***** he going to uf.

We have all these south Florida experts on the staff, but every year there is this stuff. Guy should have made a defensive change as soon as the season ended. Kids are not !stupid!! Tell you anything! Let's see Coley, Ice, Hurlie, Kehoe, Baez, the former dline that is like GA, and Beard, and they don't know how to recruit south florida, you sound like Al with this our defense is ranked 15th.
 
Stupid coaches trying to convince the PARENTS that Miami is the right place for their son. While FSU, LSU, etc... is talking to the uncle, cousin, and the neighborhood ice cream man. Get it together staff, LoL!
 
Why are we waiting so long for the low rated kids like Talen and Fenton. Offer them. Barry has said he doesn't want to come here. Mainly because true staff cant develop.

Not sure why people assume Sam Bruce is gone just because of Scarlett. Sam Bruce seems to be all about Miami.

That's the vibe i get, he basically said it without saying it. In order to get these guy we got to deal with the street agent's, SOFLA football recruiting is starting to look like the Dominican republic, Its sad man its a lose lose situation do things the right way lose recruits to the guys that are not, start paying players and get the death penalty. Miami is a tough job for any coach even Butch.

If scarlett ain't coming bruce ain't coming. That's just how it goes man.... This sh*t sad man. We need scarlett... Only hope we got is that official visit and in home visit....
 
So Scarlett is getting paid. I get it now. I assume the kid is smart since he attends STA. So when you look how terrible UF is offensively, no QB, no OL, and WR's, it makes sense why Scarlett would go there. Really, who wants to play with Kaaya, a very good OL coached by a legend who has put countless OL in the NFL. Of course, Scarlett doesn't want to play with an OL that will be opening up major holes for him and a QB that will throwing passes to him in the flats and giving him the rock 18 times each game.
