Thanks Pete...

Has anyone seen any reports about TH3 or D Bush? I think I've only heard Howards name a few times this week and I'm not sure I've seen Bush's once. I hope a healthy Bush can regain and improve on his Freshman form.

agreed. I haven't heard Bush's name once. not sure if that's a good thing or not

in other news. is their camp tomorrow(sunday)?or do they resume monday?
Agreed! MOAR BUSH! Seriously though I want to know how he has looked thus far.
407, where are you exactly? I'm in the Altamonte Springs/Longwood/Wekiwa area..

Remember that time he copied Pete's recruiting work and Pete took the high road ?

Pete has to say something this time, C'mon Pete

Maybe Pete is just relaying info from the numerous sources who have allowed him to beat Matt Porter and the rest on every single recruiting story this year. Maybe.

Pete doesn't "beat" Porter on recruiting stories. He writes them for him..

i'm drinking the kool aid for the team. there is no reason why we don't have the team nor talent to win nine or ten games this year, realistically I say we go 9-3 the regular season and then win a bowl game to make it 10-3. I think this would be a big stepping stone and with a new quarterback would be an excellent year. When No-D has talent and speed he has had good defensive stats so I don't think the scheme will be an issue this year.

Petrino is a horrible human being but a solid coach, however I think because we'll be motivated from that bowl disaster that I had to witness in person, and their losing teddy bridgewater and that all america safety among others, I think we should win that game. Nebraska will be a tough one but their defensive players are dropping like flies already this week and as long as we have an established quarterback we'll be good. I hate to say it but FSU game isn't looking great(better than last year but not great). No other team on this schedule should be favored against us. Every team is bound to have a slip up. Although my hatred for louisville has me hoping it isnt to them.

Safety you speak of is Calvin Pryor.

thanks, couldn't think of the name to save my life and was too lazy to google.

fwiw I take back what I said of the nebraska game and say we lose that one, still finish with three losses though

Drink some more Kool Aid and we beat Nebraska:shocked:

Lol if only it was that simple
I have been saying it for awhile- anything less than 10-2 and meeting FSU in the ACC Championship game is a disappointment. I personally believe 11-1, the FSU game being the only one we are not the favorite in. Sorry but look at the talent and break it down from there. Besides FSU we are the most talented team on our schedule. The only thing holding us back is coaching now. Everyone gets it together and we good.

I'm tired of settling and tired of excuses man! Real talk though, no reason we lose more than 2 regular season games.

first, i hope what you say comes true

second, i don't know what makes you get such high expectations when we haven't won 11 games in like 11 years

third, IF the team disappoints in your eyes, what would you like to see happen? who should get fired?

Me too man!

The talent is there! Eventually a team comes back with improved talent and gets back to winning. It's that time.

Don't laugh but I don't like to see people get fired, it raises unemployment and no family deserves that. I would just like to see the right person in the right position. I just want results to be honest.

We're not talking about someone who is getting minimum wage here. Golden is making over $2 million and Coach D, hundreds of thousands. I'm not feeling bad for them if they get fired.

This is the best prognosis from camp so far!

"One of the top things that has stood out early in camp is the team speed on the defensive side of the ball. "The defense is freakishly fast right now," a source said. The versatility and speed and linebacker and safety will give Mark D'Onofrio more creativity than the last 3 years.

Coaches are absolutely thrilled by the depth and progress of the safety position. This is the deepest they have been since 01-04. Marques Gayot has carried over his summer performances and continues to impress. "He's a killer," said source. Dallas Crawford is also picking up where he left off in the spring and will be a nice piece for D'Onofrio.

**The Booker T. Washington freshman duo of Chad Thomas and Demetrius Jackson has lived up to any and all expectations that were had of them before camp. Chad Thomas is blowing coaches away through week 1. I would not be surprised to see him start come the Louisville game. Demetrius Jackson is ready to contribute as well. He is up near 240 and has retained his explosive ability that got Miami excited in the first place. He will most likely see the field situationally this year and has potential on special teams as well."

LULZ at porter. If he wasn't intimidated he wouldn't be making public comments . Pete is in his head.

Porter acts like he knows what he's watching anyway. He said Duke had a long carry on play action (not play again if the RB takes the handoff), and his sole purpose of his reports is to create a **** storm surrounding Kaaya because that's what will get his blog hits. I'd rather hear from Pete's source if he at least knows what he's watching and isn't simply trying to create a mess with the QB situation.

Nice write up.

Matty is a ****head. He has a point about sources versus seeing it yourself, and has a right to say it, but if the sources eyes are better than your own, whether his or Pete's, I'll take the report from sources.

Matt porter is a jealous reporter lol...
