Guys, JMO, as someone who writes for a living, but it's pretty clear to me that Peter was culling info from his sources and other people around the program. It's not as if he put anything on his byline about being on Greentree Practice Field

Personally, I found the report really informative. And as it relates to sources, yeah, many of them can't be named or you'll get them in trouble, etc. And bottom line, without using sources, its hard to do this job and get info that is valuable to the readers....
 
Oh here we go again, miserable people complaining/critiquing a free product that they choose to read.

The man cited quotes from the source he was using and y'all still asking where the source at lol. If you ain't with Pete or the rest of the Canesinsight staff GTFOH. You don't have to be here. Pete and the rest of the staff we appreciate y'all, keep doing y'all thang and sh*tting on the paid sites....

Maaaan, these reporters are always upset with Pete and this board's mods because they "haven't put the time in" and they're just kids.

Beast gets mad and says some people need to adhere to higher standards before reporting news, but guess what, Pete was bang on on Barrow etc. and broke it.

**** ****es me off, beat writers are angry that these kids provide better info than them. I really do enjoy Matt Porter's work, but just shut up with the politics and personal views and report on them **** Canes.

If you watch video of player's and coache's "interviews", read content on the internet and gather information from sources that are not your own…. you do. You do a great job gathering and posting. Most of us thought you attended the Miami Hurricanes practices and believed that you were Reporting. We were disappointed to learn this was not the case. Thanks for the great work you do

Obviously his sources apparently have some type of rank around the program. Where the **** you think he has been getting his recruiting info from? Why would you doubt this?

Seriously, what are you trying to gain out of posts like this? Numerous times in "The Work" he says things like "some believe to be a lead for him in the competition", " "The defense is freakishly fast right now," a source said, Coaches are absolutely thrilled by the depth and progress of the safety position, "He's a killer," said source.

Not one time did he say he attended camp. People that say, "most of us thought you attended"...that is not true. Only a couple of you thought that and stop attempting speaking for the majority. Only people that did not read the article or cannot fully comprehend the writing level would think that. People who make ***umptions....

Pretty sure I read Pete reference a source in his blog. My memory is pretty good, and I remember him crediting a source.
