kids make up offers and can commit to any school they like. Whether the school accepts their commitment is a different story. Schools also can't comment on players until after they've signed. It's unlikely but his entire recruitment has been very bizarre

Making up a committment is one thing but an actual letter from the University is another thing. If he lied about the committment which idk how he did at the UM event he went to the day he verbaled then I have no clue how the staff still kept up any contact with him including the bbq

does he have the letter? I dont have twitter (or stalk teenage kids). Was he actually at the BBQ?

Ive never seen it but apparently he was at the bbq from what I read everywhere so theres still contact and if he's been lying then idk why the staff would continue to talk to him

You can't even compare Lane to coley. Lane couldn't hold Stacey coley's sophomore jockstrap! Can't believe so many ppl so enamored with a bum. Lane is a 3 star prospect with 1 star intangibles. I say all of this having nothing personal against him I'm speaking from a football talent standpoint.

Smh, its crazy that UF fans said the same thing about Moten but as long as he comes here nobody cares if he's "scared of competition they're just happy to have him. When stud dlineman were out there we wanted them here becacuse they could play early when other schools would say they're "afraid of competition". Now we have one of the best receiving cores, about to add Griffin, Langham and possibly Dixon and Berrios but instead of bragging about that and forgetting about Lane everybody still has to kill the kid like some heartbroken ex-girlfriend smh. Everybody GET OVER LANE and focus on the other studs that will come, just like everybody focus on Cook instead of Yearby everybody is doing that with the wrs
