The part where hes 62nd in ypg, 59th in tds and not in the top150 of ypc when his elite counterpart cooper whos the same age just went to the pro bowl. He had a nice season but hes not elite...at least not yet.Wrs have have the second least longevity in the league behind rbs. Hes going be 28 before his 1st contract is over.
What does that have to do with him being elite last year?
Those stats have nothing to do with his age. The stats are compelling when discussing whether he is elite. Talking about his age in relation to whether or not he's an elite player is buffoonery.
They have a lot to do with it. At his age he should be flat out dominating if you want to call him elite. Facts are hes a great possesion receiver but nothing about his stats or measurables make him elite. Amari posted 1700yds and 16td at his age ...that is elite.
Acclimating to the college game is more important than age. Amari had 2 years of college experience when he accomplished that. Ridley will likely have similar stats after having 2 years to adjust to the speed and physicality of college football.
