Peter Ariz What are the chances Joshua Jobe is able to reclassify to 2017?
We need to land as many top notch DB's as we can this cycle. Brini, Davis, Carter...Also would like to make a move for Daniel Wright, seems like he really enjoyed his UM visit. Getting annoyed how those poons from Tallahassee are getting all the top DB talent in Florida
"The Work" updates work a lot better now that we've got rid of the JV coaching staff (3rd in a row) - much more positive news flowing in...
If Kuligowski is high on the DE, then he's ours - I think he's going to be able to choose just about anyone he wants - I am curious how many nationally ranked DTs and DEs he's going after, though - I haven't heard much in this area, but hopefully he's still targeting some of the huge-time DTs across the country (Ford is a top-ranked one who happens to be local, too)....
**Miami made a big move with Deejay Dallas this weekend. Dallas visited on Friday and I have been told that it was major for Miami's chances. Dallas left before Saturday for his school prom, but a sign that this is serious is that his family visited the next day on their own. The family was in town for a friend's birthday party, but for them to come the day after without Deejay shows that the Canes are a major player. Big priority for Miami at the receiver spot.
**STA WR Mike Harley has been making waves on the camp circuit and is definitely an electric athlete, but as of now do not look for him to wind up as a Hurricane. Miami has others higher on their board and Harley is not a priority. This is a good sign for Miami's chances with Jerry Jeudy, which I mentioned a few weeks back that the Canes had been feeling very confident with.
**Southridge CB Shawn Davis has been making trips recently, including one to UF where he had some positive things to say about the Gators. Some people have asked if the Canes have anything to worry about, but I've been told that Miami still holds a strong lead. I would be surprised if he winded up elsewhere.
**Mater Academy CB Latavious Brini is in a similar spot as Davis. Brini has recently taken trips to FSU, UF, and UGA, but Miami remains in solid shape to land him. Canes are not worried here. Safeties coach Ephraim Banda has made a big impression on him.
**Also at defensive back, Joshua Jobe and Gilbert Frierson are two premier Miami commits in the 2018 class. I'm told that LSU is making a strong push for both, but signing day 2018 is a looooong ways off. Just something to monitor. As I've mentioned previously, Patrick Surtain, Jr. is a massive target for Miami in this class as well.
**A sleeper prospect in the 2017 class to keep an eye on is Lake Worth SDE Jonathan Garvin. The Canes offered a few week back and Coach Kool absolutely loves his upside. Watch for Miami to make a big push for him.
A top 15/20 class this year would be a major disappointment. The late start is just not a valid excuse, seeing as a bunch of these guys were already recruiting the SE and SFLA anyway and there is tons of time left. If we win 9 not even talking 10, we get a top 10 class."The Work" updates work a lot better now that we've got rid of the JV coaching staff (3rd in a row) - much more positive news flowing in...

Only drawback for Kool and the Gang is he and the rest of the staff got a late start on recruiting this year...Look for us to have a top 15/20 class this year and the doors get blown off next year...
190 not 175If by "small" you mean 6'0 175 then yeah he's small
Idk why but for some reason im worried about us getting him . I guess i was just expecting him to be more die-hard Cane but it kind of seems like he might end up being one of those "i want to make my own name, legacy) guys ie. Cade WeldonAny news on Al Blades Jr. ? Havent heard much since he decomitted, but its hard to believe hed go anywhere but Miami when 2018 rolls around

Only way this class ends up outside the top 10 is if we bomb on the field.

Wow! It was 11 minutes of explosiveness. I hope you're joking.watching Deejay Dallas' video......don't see what the big deal is. he is small and doesn't really stand out athletically. average prospect.
Michigan state, TCU etc....do it with 3* recruits every year... Houston beat FSU, UNC whooped us with 3* DBs ....it has more to with development than rating. IMOWe need to land as many top notch DB's as we can this cycle. Brini, Davis, Carter...Also would like to make a move for Daniel Wright, seems like he really enjoyed his UM visit. Right On 901...They loose Ramsey but already had the no#1 and no#2 safety and CB for the past 2 years coming in....We should have passed on Coley and gotten whoever the DB coach is...
I agree he looks solid but y'all talking about him like he's elitewatching Deejay Dallas' video......don't see what the big deal is. he is small and doesn't really stand out athletically. average prospect.

He's not an elite athlete. But he's a really good football player. We need more players like him.
