I had talked with Doherty a few days ago about Marquise Brown. Felt he was something we needed. I hope they jump on him fast.

I know Rix had his major local Georgia blunders like thinking Cam should be a TE and Deshawn Watson was a DB. That will tell us a lot about how he'll do down here trying to protect the fort.

From what I can remember off the top of my head, Nkemdiche was the only "Cant miss, 5*" that he missed on. And we all know he got paid by Ole Miss.

But AJ Green, Isiah Crowell, Alec Olgetree, Chubb, Josh Harvey Clemons, etc.

We'll never be back until we can convince the truly elite kids to stay home. Those are the kids that make the difference against the toughest opponents, that's why we don't win any of those games, no real playmakers when the game's on the line.

in the short term the key is to get the leaders in South Florida.. the guys who make big plays in big games even if they are a little under sized like Bandy and Harley..they will win us a big game and get the program on track in order to attract the top guys.. we just havent recruited the leaders in south florida

Yes...but I'm sure it helps a little that he is selling the most most dominant team this decade.
Not sure he would be getting this elite talent if he was selling Rutgers.

Yes. And a former nfl coach with an nc at lsu wouldn't be enough incentive. Alabama MUST be paying so much more to get him four more nc, right? Only thing more pathetic with this season has been our whiny and excuse making fan base.

B/c Harley requires a redshirt year to add weight, but if things aren't looking good with Dingle, then I say go after this kid hard, offer Harley (since we dropped Bruce) and go all out for Smith and Holloman.

And if numbers get tight at WR in this class b/c by some miracle we look like we really might land Smith and Holloman, then start cutting communication with Njoku and try to drop him from the class (yes I know his brother is on the team, but he is nowhere near his brother athletically).

A WR class of the following would be epic, but definitely not expecting it:

Brown (JUCO)

Harley (tiny with elite speed)

Smith (Elite WR w/ elite speed)

Holloman (Elite size and speed)
