Campbell is a prize for sure, but surtain would still be best CB recruit in the class if we *somehow* got him.

dude i dont know what to tell you. But the kid they played at cb in the mnc looked mid major college level. Tyson Campbell is better than whomever they have right now. You saying names dont mean anything...he is the leite of the elite from s.fla...those types are eating or starting wherever they go. If he commits here he is eating Youngs reps from day 1..that good.

The othere guys i named where five star corners from last class that are on the roster, he going to start over them? And baker coming back the coaches going to tell him to take a seat for Campbell?

Regarding TC, it certainly didn't help that we looked like dog**** the last three games of the season.

There were also plenty of other timrs through the year where all but Jackson basically looked bad at his position. Sure, that means he could start out with a shot to play a lot, but then again maybe he doesn't believe in Diaz's defense. To be frank, I'm not sure I do either and if one is being honest, UGA seems to have the edge over us on that side of the ball.

It takes unique individuals to stay at home and change those trends, but I guess he isn't that guy. Such is life and we'll live I'm sure.

Now that I/we know Surtain and Chatfield are very close, I'd be curious to know how important it is for them to play together.

If they really want to play together then that leaves Miami and LSU. (Chatfield doesn't have a Bama offer)

And if what my buddy says is true, then Surtain ain't thrilled about LSU.
And if they do want to play together, and Surtain is supposedly going to LSU, why wouldn't Chatfield be going there as well? (instead of being solid to Miami)

But from what I'm being told Pat Sr doesn't really want his boy living in Louisiana. And Pat's a mama's boy as well. Mama wants him home.

I'll join the circle jerk too, though. Let's use some math here.


1. Silvera definitely coming. Wants to be in the city. He refuses to play somewhere like Athens or Gainesville or [insert another podunk town].

2. Chatfield and Silvera are close. Chatfield coming.

3. Chatfield lives with Surtain. Chatfield and Surtain are like brothers. Been together since 9th grade. Chatfield coming to Miami...

4. Surtain not thrilled about Orgeron. Surtain Sr not thrilled about his son living in Louisiana. Surtain's mama loves her little boy and doesn't want to see him leave town either. Surtain may just want to stay with Chatfield throughout college.

5. TC is an impressionable kid. If 1 through 4 adds up, and those 3 kids sign with us, he may follow all his bros to Miami.
