This sounds good and all macho just wondering why surtain never mentions Miami in his interviews about his top schools or anything?
 
Jesus. DB recruiting has been an abortion the past two years. Thank god there’s a ridiculous amount of talent to go around.

That's a good question. I don't know. My buddy gave me the impression that Alabama was the biggest threat to us.

But ask yourself this...

If he's that close with Chatfield, why would he NOT go to Miami?

Man I hope this is all comes true but Nesta and Chatfield is great news. TC and PS2 hopefully see the light and want to stay home and rep The U.

And now we know why Chatfield visited this weekend....they wanted to close him.

Is it possible that our staff offered Chatfield to sway Surtain? And us slow playing Chatfield is why Miami wasn't originally on Surtain's radar?

What do you guys think?

Coach Macho, what I think is that if we get 3 of the 4, I will personally buy you a beverage of your choice at the first home game next year. Heck I might buy you a beverage for each of the AH players that commit!

Bro you’re killing it right now. Was on the verge of calling it a night but I’m all in.

I think it was the combo of the D End board not taking shape like they wanted/got a thorough assessment on Chatfield....

And...

That So Fl magic kicked in and they realized they had been schleep on the relationship then went for broke.

4/4 near impossible


Campbell is a prize for sure, but surtain would still be best CB recruit in the class if we *somehow* got him.

Chatfield and nesta seem like locks

I obviously do not know either of them, but I wouldn't think that is the case. I think it was more lets wait and see with Chatfield. He doesn't have the measurables that stand out, so like they did with Bandy and Samuel, they didn't offer him from the jump. I think as the season went on and they saw how he just straight dominated they decided to give him that offer. That along with all the other players (like they did with Samuel, current players and recruits) telling our staff that he is for real and they want to play with, made them decide to give him the offer.

I think the Surtain thing was just extra. Maybe they thought about it, but I'm sure it was too much of a long shot for them to base their offer on it. They have yet to give out an offer for a package deal when they could have multiple times
