The Shawn Eichorst Thread

1. Why would some place like NU hire someone with such limited experience?
2. Do some weird fetish sites have machines that repeatedly kick guys in the balls? Because that's what being a Miami fan has felt like for the last decade.

The AD is such an overrated position, particularity when you have quality coaches in the 3 major sports like Miami does.

Brian London tweeted that Shalala may have been unhappy with him and he saw the writing on the wall.

It's big for fund raising and compliance...both of which we really need a strong willed and savvy mind at. Right now this is bad for the investigation as he was having to handle a lot of that on our front. Getting a good person to come in behind him now KNOWING what is going on is going to be tough.

Reports are he has resigned, media making it out as he heard our penalties and is jetting . **** media.

Haven't seen a thing from media making any such claims. Now UM haters on comment boards attached to articles, yes. Not sure why his leaving is such a surprise. He's got a mid-western background, and he will probably be paid MUCH more at Nebraska than at UM.

Miami AD Shawn Eichorst is a candidate for the Nebraska AD job as Tom Osborne is retiring...unrelated to the rivals story I received the following text from an old friend of mine that is very tied on a daily basis to the Nebraska Ath Dept

ESPN just announced Eichorst has resigned for the Nebraska AD job.

Sources? I have also heard that he has left, but nothing related to the penalties.

He may or may not know something we don't about the penalties but it's not like the Nebraska AD job was just sitting there forever waiting for him to take it.

Dude got a chance to move into a premier AD job and he took it. That's my read.
