If he isnt ready and isnt a cancer, a redshirt could be in order. I doubt it, but maybe!

Oh--come on. He just needs to nut up and play ball. Who cares if he almost saw a 5-year-old girl die in front of his face due to a car accident in which he was the driver...if he's a REAL Cane, he should deal with it. Playing time for MY Canes ought to be more important than this to him.Aug 20, 2012 - Seantrel Henderson, the former top recruit in the country who has been plagued by injuries since arriving at The University of Miami, is unlikely to play for the season opener against Boston College after head coach Al Golden told the Palm Beach Post's Jorge Milian that Henderson needs to "get his personal house in order."
Henderson suffered a concussion in an Aug. 1 car accident — one that sent a 5-year-old girl to the hospital with a gash on her forehead that required 16 stiches, according to the Miami Herald — and has practiced very sparingly. He also reportedly has gone home to Minnesota twice to attend funerals.
Henderson was reportedly emotionally shaken during the car accident as well, and, coupled with the deaths of a friend and a family member, it's no wonder he's likely not emotionally ready to play. From the Miami Herald's report, this is the mother of the 5 year-old:
"My daughter was strapped on the board and shaking, and when [Henderson] saw her he was like, ‘Oh my gosh! Don't tell me this happened.' This is something that stays with somebody for a while."
