It was posted on the Miami Herald site in the comments. Just passing on info. CIS team can dig up the info to see if it is correct

KMSP Fox Channel 9 in Minneapolis is reporting that Seantrel Henderson, the former Number 1 High School Football recruit out of Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul will enroll at the University of Minnesota, redshirt and be eligible to play Football during the 2013 Season for the Gophers according to reliable sources within the University. Henderson is not expected participate in any Gopher Football related activities until after classes begin on Sept. 4th. When contacted, a Henderson family spokesman has requested respecting they're privacy at this time as they are dealing with family personal issues and a statement will be released soon. KMSP Fox 9 will respect the Henderson family's wishes and will report any further information as it becomes available.

i checked their website and didn't see that comment posted anywhere.

Scroll down to the comment section. You may have missed it. Maybe a troll job.

Gosh I hope so. With the news of Porter having non football related health issues is devastating. I hope with Porter it is not some heart condition they discovered.

That would be two of our best interior linemen gone

Aug 20, 2012 - Seantrel Henderson, the former top recruit in the country who has been plagued by injuries since arriving at The University of Miami, is unlikely to play for the season opener against Boston College after head coach Al Golden told the Palm Beach Post's Jorge Milian that Henderson needs to "get his personal house in order."

Henderson suffered a concussion in an Aug. 1 car accident — one that sent a 5-year-old girl to the hospital with a gash on her forehead that required 16 stiches, according to the Miami Herald — and has practiced very sparingly. He also reportedly has gone home to Minnesota twice to attend funerals.

Henderson was reportedly emotionally shaken during the car accident as well, and, coupled with the deaths of a friend and a family member, it's no wonder he's likely not emotionally ready to play. From the Miami Herald's report, this is the mother of the 5 year-old:

"My daughter was strapped on the board and shaking, and when [Henderson] saw her he was like, ‘Oh my gosh! Don't tell me this happened.' This is something that stays with somebody for a while."
Oh--come on. He just needs to nut up and play ball. Who cares if he almost saw a 5-year-old girl die in front of his face due to a car accident in which he was the driver...if he's a REAL Cane, he should deal with it. Playing time for MY Canes ought to be more important than this to him.

Has to be a troll job. There's several folks who have posted on here about Seantrel needing to man-up and play who it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they went on there and posted some nonsense like that just to stir the pot.

doesn't make sense. If they guy really wants out, he sucks it up for 4 months and gets drafted somewhere in the middle rounds even if he hardly plays. To transfer woulld mean not playing this year and hurting his draft stock even more. I'm calling bs
