It’s no secret he takes his time. This is his MO with these types of things. He followed the same approach last time and failed miserably with the offensive coordinator hire.

This is a message board. We’re supposed to have a discussion. If you want to have a whataboutism conversation, have it with a kindergartner. My comment is relevant to the thread and has has evidentiary support. Further, I even limited the scope of my criticism. “With these types of things.” Or did you not comprehend that part?

I didn’t see the clip you’re referencing 407, but I think it’s human nature to adjust if you’re getting your fudge pushed in or losing momentum during battle. Assuming you’ve got enough sense to see / feel it at least.

It’s just not done in some hokey Hollywood rah rah blah blah context. It’s micro adjustments that ultimately lead to results ( positive ideally ).

Bro, the way Dabo did it is very uncommon. The guy was fired 72 hours ago. It’s not frustrating at all that our head coach hasn’t had a replacement identified, interviewed, vetted, hired, and announced in 72 hours. It’s just not. Well, not for anyone sane who doesn’t have previous predisposed notions about how the coach handles his business.

You think Bama is frustrated with Saban for not having a guy move into BOB’s office the instant he got the last box out?

There we go. Some substance.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be frustrated with our OC situation. Gattis could have been relieved of his duties a long time ago. He could not or refused to take another job, and Mario was finally forced to fire him.

The decision to move on from Gattis was made months ago. I have to assume Mario has been looking around and made himself a short list during that time. Am I being impatient? Probably. Am I being unreasonable? Probably not.

We were remarkably terrible on offense last year. It was so toxic it affected the team as a whole. It affected and continues to affect our outside WR recruiting. Complete dumpster fire. I’m happy being impatient because I know it needs to change yesterday.
