So now a plausible reason is that Mario's choice is someone coaching in the last game of the year and no potential announcement is being made to prevent distractions. We're now in the NFL guy whose future is tied to other job openings stage of the cycle.

Heard Mario is hiring Bob Stoops, just gotta wait until the XFL season ends. Mirabal will call plays in the spring while we wait.

Stranger? Funny, my buddy was a bass player and partied with them…we discussed that last week. Last time I heard of them was 1982 when I went to the state track meet. At the hotel, they were checking n and my football/track coach (another bass player) was chatting w them got a signed album from them.

@SWFLHurricane and @Peruche made the treacherous mistake of reminiscing about Chef life back in the day in this thread, they were promptly reported for tossing due to a derail under my rule in the first post by supercitizen @Tony4Miami and Operation Tony! Toni! Toné! was born. They were promptly expelled from this thread for an hour along with @tsimonitis who was ensnared in the operation like a hapless John at a hooker hotel. Sentences were reduced to between 45-55 minutes for all and the operation was declared by me to be a raging success.
