From Lake this morning:

Says he spoke to people on the Toledo side of this and their feeling is there is more interest in Notre Dame's position from Candle than Miami's at this point. Lake said it was described to him as "a situation where if Candle decides to leave Toledo it would be for ND, not Miami"

Hopefully Mario has moved on behind the scenes... Guy CLEARLY doesn't want to work at Miami...

But he has decided on a topic for his research paper for his 12 grade chemistry class, so progress is being made.

Blow that Candle out. He's more comfortable staying in the Midwest closer to his Ohioans.

I think that was evident last year. I hope he goes to ND and they get ******* obliterated every week. Well, I wish that anyway regardless if he goes there or not. :)

Why's it a clown show? Because David Lake doesn't know who he's hiring or interviewing?

Not a soul knew he was hiring Guidry. People just need to accept the fact this dude has a very, very tight circle and nothing real leaks.
