The most important factor in this game...

The most important factor in this game for us IMO will be tackling.

Cam Akers LEADS all of FBS in Broken Tackles & we have had an issue with our tackling all season long, including a horrendous 29 missed tackles in the GTech debacle. We simply cannot afford to have a repeat performance of that game vs a much more talented & highly motivated FSU team.

Their Offense has been the only thing that has kept them alive this season, they average 29.4 ppg & 417yds of total yards per game, plus Cam Akers is 10th in the nation in rushing with 917yds & 12TD's at 5.3ypc. UVA & Clemson were the only 2 games in which he was shut down.

I have ZERO expectations for our Offenses this game, their Defense is complete trash but can be disruptive on the interior with Marvin Wilson, which means Donaldson & Clark are going to have a long day... And of course Zion, is gonna Zion.

The only way we win this game IMO is if our Defense plays it's best game & shuts them down, the only advantage we have is our DL vs their OL, other than that I don't see many advantages for us. I hope Rousseau, Hill, Ford, Garvin, Nesta & Bethel all play their absolute best game & wreak havoc all day, otherwise we'll struggle mightily dealing with this Offense. Simply put, on Defense we have to bring immense pressure & we must wrap up & TACKLE.

Defense is gonna have to put this game on their back forcing turnovers & getting in the backfield all game, because I know our Offense is going to be playing super conservative safe ball & not attacking FSU's garbage Defense in the same way that everybody else has. Bryan Harsin/Zak Hill layed out the perfect blueprint to dice them up, but I do not under circumstances whatsoever expect Enos to use any of that.

Boise St with a True Freshman QB & an offense full of 3-star Moutain West players put up 621yds (407yds through the air) on FSU's Defense. Louisiana Monroe put up 419yds total on FSU, LOUISIANA MONROE... NOT LSU, LOUISIANA MONROE FROM THE SUN BELT (How many 4/5-star you think they got???). UVA put up 415yds total on FSU with 295yds through the air. Even Louisville put up 410yds (286yds through the air) on FSU & Wake Forest put 424yds (308yds through the air), Clemson also carved'em up but no need to include them because they're in another stratosphere.

The point is, just about every team they've played has figured out a way to put up big yards on their terrible Defense, so you know what Enos is gonna do? The exact opposite lol.

After all your proof bulletins points about the teams that put up yards on Fsu, the most important game is what did we do against 1 & 5 GA tech and their unvaunted defense, while perry definitely did enuff for us to win the game, coach enos already and his high powered offensive game plan against that Mac conference powerhouse who you'd think he would've wanted to crush in Central Michigan, enos already, his ego makes him call dumb ****, he has that "its not my fault mentality" when things are not going good, we've had a solid rushing game for the most part but enos already doesnt know how to take advantage of the rushing game when its going good to know how to score, he has a "let's move the sticks" offense, his redzone playcalling has been and still is, **** poor. I still cant forget against the gaytors how he called a jet sweep with transfer tate running to the short side of the field, going to his left, with no option to pass, with a right handed suppose to be quarterback.

I knew than coach enos already goes brain dead, waisting plays. Now that i think about it, during coach diaz press conference, when he was trying to tell the media "if i was a d-co, i'd be worried if transfer tate was in the game". I blasted coach diaz several times for that stupid *** statement cause first off WTF has transfer tate ever done in college football for any d-co to have to be worried, 2nd, it sounded like him and enos already was trying to justify why transfer tate got more burn than our other legit receivers, but now that i think about, i'm wondering if coach diaz was trying to send a signal to coach enos already that transfer tate should be used in a run pass option, and if so, that tells me alot about coach diaz, the old folks use to say "grow a pair".

You're better than this.

Stop it.

I have watched the games. Multiple. They ******* stink. Beat by Wake. Dog fight against Louisville. Lost to UVA. Dog fight against UL-Monroe.

FSU is playing "pretty well offensively right now"...season average 5.4 yards per play. Last three games 5.1 yards per play. That includes 6.0 yards per play versus Syracuse. Brother, they are ******* trash.

If we can't beat these jabronis on Saturday, leave the entire staff and select players on the tarmac.
I don’t think FSU is good. But their offense is progressing better and faster than ours.

Additionally, they’re a bad matchup for our plodding defense that doesn’t pressure the QB well, misses tons of tackles, and doesn’t cover anyone. You saw what Hornifacquit did to Díaz a couple years ago with far inferior receivers at his disposal.

Then, when you start looking at what our offense does, it’s another bad matchup for us. Not because FSU is great. Nope. Because we suck.

What we do plays into their hands because they still have some good talent and guys who can rally to the ball in short windows. We line up in those tight sets and run those slow developing plays like we’ve been doing all year, and it’s not going to go well.

So if GT can run all over us it's not looking good for this Saturday. FSU 94th in the nation in rushing but when has that ever stopped us from preventing a **** unit dominate?
This is why all these stat games are so stupid. What was Pitt’s rush offense ranked before they gashed us up for 180?

Could be a good story here, if we show up.

Nothing you said is wrong, brother.

But they still ******* stink. We just stink, too.

To be fair...Miami's offense with Jarren Williams was better from a yards per play metric than Florida State's offense. Our numbers dropped like a rock with NKosi Perry. We were a bottom 20 offense in the country with Perry at QB over the past 3 games.

Now, as for the matchup...the Syracuse game was a mirage for FSU. Syracuse is truly the worst team in the ACC this year. How? I have no ******* idea, but they are incredibly bad. Offensive line is worst in the nation, P5 and G5 included. The defense is bottom 40 in the country. FSU having 6.0ypp against Syracuse matches up perfectly with Syracuse's yearly number (6.0ypp on the year).

Miami's defense averages 4.6 opponent yard per play which is good for 20th in the nation. Florida State's offense is going to come back down to earth.

What I see is another Miami-fsu dog fight but these two teams are f'n hot gahbahge. The two teams are incredibly similar.

Which, is where I think @Liberty City El butters his bread in this thread...this game comes down some simply straight forward matchups, but ultimately the ball is all in Miami's court. Can they stop the overrated af Cam Akers? Can Miami protect their QB when it matters. If they can do those two things, FSU might be leaving Willie in the locker room with his head in an unflushed toilet like the nerd he is. If Manny can't win THIS game, he should be fired on the spot. We got no time to wait on this clown to build something when he can't beat one of the worst seminole teams since before Bowden showed up.

Agree with this entire passage but that post about the offense the last 3 games is FACTS and that’s even with the oline looking better against power 5 competition than they did against a school like cmu.

Likewise, gentlemen, FSU’s offense has looked better with Hornifacquit than with Whackman. It goes both ways.

Frankly, it’s a couple weathered club fighters squaring off at a 35 seat casino outside of Des Moines.

Enos needs to pull out all the stops. IF he's got anything up his sleeve, he needs to use it in this game.

We need to keep Cam in check and we keep it close.

Oh, and how about we convert an F'---ing 3rd down for once.

I am hoping for a blow out for either team, just can't go down to having to make a field goal.

I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

As much as I dont like fsu Cam Akers is not over rated, definitely the best back we'll see all year, everything else you're spot on

Man, fvck Cam Akers.

He ain't all that. Maybe he'd be the 5th best back in the ACC. Maybe. Travis ETN, AJ Dillon, DeeJay Dallas definitely better than that clown. I'll let you cook if you say he's better than Lyn-J Dixon, but yo...buck stops there. Nothing special. He could go off for 200 on Miami and he's still nothing special to me.
