The cane report?

10 bucks the "mystery prospect" is either Devonta smith or Jeff Thomas

I don't think Jeff Thomas qualifies as a "huge 'mystery prospect'". Devonta? yes!

So a top 50 player in the country isn't a huge mystery prospect to you? You know Jeff Thomas is a consensus top 50 player in the country right?

huge? no he's 5'10" and 175lbs... Mystery? Nah, he's been on the radar and our interest has been well chronicled. And does being a "top 50" player prevent him from being a bust?

UM needs to take 3 RB's in 2017 because Robert Burns is injury prone, an so is McFarland Jr. An Mark Walton is gone after 2017 which would leave only Travis Homer and 2 RB's that are injury prone.

Not to mention Gus Edwards is most likely transferring to Cuse where he can be a feature back for his final year.

Go Canes

Cordarrian Richardson my guess

Clemson dropped him because getting him through the clearinghouse will be a nightmare because of issues with academic fraud at his high school. He was supposedly one of the players that were cleared of having grades changed, but you never knew what can pop up when the NCAA starts digging. So Clemson cut bait early, where as Miami can afford to take the risk of him not qualifying late do to flagged transcripts.

He's not a great player because he hasn't been discussed heavily on here.

Thanks for the explanation chise. I thought it was because he isn't from SFL

There's at least two threads about the kid on here and he's been mentioned in numerous others since at least October...His tape is nice and he'd be a great replacement for corn. No mystery here as it's well established the kid is coming for a visit.

Then my original post flew right over your head.

It would be a mystery to the owner of the CIS site Pete Ariz.

Where the **** is Walton going after 2017.....undrafted free agent. maybe late(6/7 round pick). He is really good against bad competition but for the most part he is below average against good competition. Yes I know the oline sucks but he doesnt scare anyone with an above average defense

Why do people think we'll drop a All American rb for him? We'll have 4 rbs with 2 coming back from injury so we need 2
1 more but um Pete we need info

Get lost troll

So he's repeating something that was reported a few days ago about Richardson decommitting? That's news? It's meaningless unless he makes a newsworthy link between Richardson and UM.

Yea, don't talk about him unless we have a OV scheduled

I know there is a lot of smoke about Gus transferring but I still think he'll be back. Richt recently said that Gus has not approached him about a transfer. I agree with your premise though that it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to take 3 RB's. Burns may never play a meaningful down given his injury history, and McFarland can be used as a receiver out of the backfield.

Weird feeling McFarland is not in this class...

Bama's no longer in the running. It's down to us and Maryland. The latter of which is a dumpster fire. I'll remain hopeful considering Thomas Brown had a good relationship with this kid when he was at UGA and kept it going. Besides, you act like we're the only team that gets spurned by the hometown kids.

I act? Okay pal haha all I said was I have a weird feeling about it.

McFarland fractured his fibula. Outside of that, I don't get how he's injury prone. Injury prone is when you're constantly injured.
