I went to that game for free. Held a Florida bright futures scholarship banner on the field for one of the TV timeouts. On one side was Bama, and on the other side a friend from high school that was a walk on TE at ND screaming at me and two other friends (also his HS classmates) that were holding the banner with me. Pretty epic night.

I don’t think there’s any doubt Mario is an outstanding recruiter but he’s not elite. An elite recruiter doesn’t let the best player in the state leave Florida 2 years in a row. One in his backyard and the other with family ties to the Canes. Frustrating
