Centers predominantly assist on double teams in the run game and pass off interior rushers along with their guards. Which is why Tite fronts were created to attack just that.

Matt Lee is 6'4 295. I don't think anyone this season is complaining about him being undersized compared to the other guys we have.
...right so my point isn't that Lee is too small, my point is why is Kinsley too big? I fully understand he is bigger than a typical center. But he is also far more athletic. I'm saying what does his size hinder that a smaller center can do that he couldn't?

Kinsley is more athletic than who?

Why would Mcconathy flip here? Louisville is on the rise , he's a culture fit there, and last year all indications were they were major bag droppers

We have 3 edge’s committed, bring back Bain, Kelly, Wayne, and maybe Mesidor. We have bigger needs than that kid and not many spots left, don’t understand that one but I don’t understand a lot of our takes this cycle so whatever lol.
We are losing 3 edges though, no? Either way this dude is a beast though, so you take him anyway

A typical center....are you not following along with this conversation lol.

You said Kinsler was too big. I asked why - because of an actual reason, or just because he's outside typical Center build. You said Lee isn't too small. I said what does that have to do with anything... Why is Kinsler too big to be a center? Is he athletic enough? Yes. He's more athletic than your typical center (or guard). That's just a fact... Matt Lee has zero to do with this.

Nope Darren Krein. Everyone remember with comparing athletes it’s an absolute must you compare them to the same race or it’s not really a comparison.
Agree completely. That's why I've been an advocate of starting Ragone. Something about him says either Morgan or Kuechly and he just doesn't get the opportunities to prove it.

Always a good thing. I don't know where we slot Bell, Okulola, Kinsler, and McCoy but not a bad problem to have at all. The amount of time McCoy gets as a 6th linemen and all the comments make you think he is ready for a bigger role. Hopefully at least one of these can move inside to create room as Rivers and Cohen leave.
Bell is a left tackle. If Rivers leaves he slides in allowing Samson the time to come back from injury. If Rivers comes back then you have size depth etc and I’ll take that over worrying who can play. Never have enough ready lineman

Just making some inferences here. Gaby reported that there were 2 secret visitors at the Virginia game, one of whom had never been mentioned on ITU. He also said (I believe) that he did not expect that one to materialize into anything.
I am guessing that McConathy was that visitor. If he was, then Gaby and DMoney are in a battle of the sources with respect to who's right about McConathy. Random visit that doesn't go anywhere, or flip watch heating up?
And I could be completely off base.

If it is about this recruit, I’d give Gaby the edge and Gaby knows nothing lol

Everyone thinks because he’s a country white kid he’s not really interested but he legit is. And that’s coming from the guy who made a country kid comment a month ago.
I think UL’s success and the bag talk about them from last season is what makes me not buy it as much. I think the whole county kid thing has become less important overall in today’s landscape

I think the country kid stuff 100 percent matters and is a thing. Miami and big cities aren’t for everyone. This kid is actually intrigued by the long term of being developed by an all time great . Miami is very much a threat because of that.
