Nope Darren Krein. Everyone remember with comparing athletes it’s an absolute must you compare them to the same race or it’s not really a comparison.
ahhh, Krein & Patrick

Man, those were the days!

I don't know who needs to hear this but the Chili Cheese Burrito is on the secret menu at Taco Bell....apparently it always has been since it first disappeared.....I feel like i just found out I have an 18 year old child or something.....how do I make up all the time we've lost?

I haven't eaten at Taco Bell in a looooooooooong time, but when I did I was a much less adventurous eater who did not like onions, peppers, tomatoes or sour cream (I still don't like sour cream) and the Chili Cheese Burrito was my go to. Then they started rolling out the Taco Bell Expresses that were either standalones in places like the airport or combined with another express version of a different restaurant (ex: KFC) and the Express menu did not have the Chili Cheese Burrito which was very disappointing. You have brought joy to my life again and I may just have to visit a Taco Bell again.

A typical center....are you not following along with this conversation lol.

You said Kinsler was too big. I asked why - because of an actual reason, or just because he's outside typical Center build. You said Lee isn't too small. I said what does that have to do with anything... Why is Kinsler too big to be a center? Is he athletic enough? Yes. He's more athletic than your typical center (or guard). That's just a fact... Matt Lee has zero to do with this.
We have not seen Kinsler play and you call him athletic. For now, Kinsler is 30 lbs minimum over the playing weight for a C.

Center needs to be good in sideline to sideline movement, get out quicker in space and move, and identify defenders at the second level. A 340 lbs man doesn't do that unless we're talking about a rare freak of nature.

There. I said it. Rodriguez will play, end lf story.

Yeah I call Kinsler athletic, Same way people called Mauigoa athletic before he played.

Why is 310lbs the cutoff for centers? Is there a height cutoff? 310lbs is like the average NFL center, so it definitely isn't a cutoff weight. And there are multiple 6'6" NFL centers. Also Kinsler at 6'6 340 is similar in actual distribution to a 6'4" 323 lb guy. So as long as he has the athleticism and pad level, I am not steeing the issue. Now of course there are other aspects of being a center - like calling or defenders and adjusting the blocking. But again that had nothing to do with size.

Smart, quick, and athletic. Size isn't really the important factor at center like it is at OT.

The point is, people don't want to play Rodriguez without there being an adaquate reason. If Kinsler is this good, he'd be the backup now.
