Thank You All

you were porsting that you had got info DM’ed to you. You were intimating **** like it’s no big deal, we’ll all laugh when it’s over. Then when Cribby started porsting it’s complex on multiple levels you changed your tune to it’s a private family matter. You and others junior insiders were a total douche canoes to anyone who thought him not signing on ESD wasn’t good. They were just a bunch of ungrateful spoiled brats.
Its funny, me and Cribby had the same info and even talked about it.

I also didn't change my tune, I stopped talking about it because you kept being insufferable ***** and started insulting @TheOriginalCane among others.

I honestly don't know how you make it through life.

**** off as well.

Deion is a passing fad, just like the whole "HBCU programs are as good as any for football" that he tried pushing for a couple years then up and abandoned them and stole their star player once that fad died out. He's going to get slaughtered in the PAC 12, and wont be the cool fad of the moment for long.
Slaughtered won't matter bringing in talent does. U may be right on the hype thing but we got mauled and landed a top 5 class. I guarantee u if we get mauled this year (which is highly possible) we still land a top 5 class.

Still gotta keep those relations in case Boulder Colorado feels as from from a Lakeland as it actually is 😂 1900 miles.

I’m want to say thank you for how all of us Canes fans reacted to the news.

No massive meltdowns.
No fire everybody talk.

Just a lot of he’s overrated and glad he’s not here talk.

Which is customary and we should absolutely should feel than anyone who is not a cane isn’t good.

Kudos to all.

Who would have guessed the class rank and number of losses this season would be the same? Cristobal needs to do a lot better on both fronts. Like I said, I could forgive a 5-7 season if he finished with a top 5 class. He would have done what he was hired to do (recruit), with the expectation that if he recruited enough top 5 classes he'd have stacked so much talent on the roster he could Larry Coker himself to a championship.

Unfortunately for us, he's underperforming in literally every single aspect of the head coaching job (again, even that could be more forgivable if he was making a couple million less per year and that extra money was going towards hiring the most elite staff possible, a la Orgeron with Aranda). Right now Cristobal looks like he has Mark Richt recruiting chops with Randy Shannon coaching ability. This should at least get me on the mope of the year candidate list.
Low hanging fruit post.

Clemson and Dabo shatter this “you have to have a top 3 class to win titles argument.”

Clemson has been just fine signing top heavy classes in the 5-10 range year in and year out.

And just a short 6 years ago Dabo was considered a super Corch.

He hit on the DL, QBs and DC. The rest has been good high-end talent but never overstocking like UGA and Bama.

Let it play out and let’s see what happens.

But I get it if Mario fails then you can say you “called it” back in 2023.

Gotta get Harbor on campus next weekend. Lots of cash just became available. Ruiz knows who he is and the importance.

I have no idea how much these NIL deals are worth but seems like Rashada and MCclain were probably our two most expensive deals….maybe money isn’t everything
They both got more money else where.

Rashada’s checks never cleared…hopefully “Money” end up the same way.

this all showed how soft and mamas boy this kid is. Deon swooped in and sweethearted him. Probably piping his mom too
Corwomani has always seemed soft. The dude weighs 130 pounds soaking wet, wears braces, and gets her rocks off by lying and being deceptive. It would look good for us to land a top 10 talent, but I'm not gonna miss this snow bunny.

we need for this thread to get to 250 pages +/- so that with the other locked thread we can get to a collective 1000 pages. so please keep fighting while D$ et al. laugh all the way to the bank . . .

Clemson’s model is reliant on one thing more than any other and you touched on it here. They landed elite QB’s capable of carrying their team to the promised land twice in the last decade. Without the elite QB, their ceiling is capped as ACC Champion with no prayer of achieving anything greater.

- They hit on DeShaun Watson and won a natty.

- They won the ACC title with Kelly Bryant but stood no match with him against Bama.

- Insert Trevor Lawrence the following year and they were champs again.

- Their offense regressed mightily with Uiagalelei and the program’s ceiling was firmly restored. ACC champs and nothing more.

The obvious concern here is Mario’s track record of recruiting QB’s was a red flag before he was hired here and it was a position of weakness in an otherwise really strong class. He landed highly ranked QB’s at Oregon but they’ve had to roll with transfers the last two years (Anthony Brown and Bo Nix) because they weren’t any good.

Hopefully we start landing Watson and Lawrence level QB’s while also loading up in the trenches & reversing our recruiting misfortunes at WR. That would create a sustainable model for us.
