That kid is a puppet and nothing more. Hope those pulling his strings put him in the best place for success in life when they tell him that he has a voice of his own. Seems like he is going to be miserable in Colorado once he has a chance to experience life there.

I personally love visiting as I have relatives in Denver and Boulder and have a home to go to in the mountains to go skiing. But you think this kid is going to dig the hippie vibe in Boulder in the middle of negative degree nights? Is he going to hike the front range in his off time or dig the culture? I give it until late January of 2024 before he realizes how badly he messed up. By then he may have found his voice (but probably not).

It’s going to be interesting how it plays out. I definitely see him transferring at some point and have a real culture shock like you said.

I love Colorado personally. Got my Masters at DU so lived there for a couple years. Would love to move there one day. But the homelessness and overly hippy vibe in Denver/Boulder is exhausting.

Ehhh I don’t know. Million dollars is one of barstools biggest podcasts and a leading podcast for its market. Dave found them and gave them an opportunity and both sides are very fond of each other. I’d recommend listening to the episode they have him on as guest.

Sure, but it's like saying Call Her Daddy is/was barstool...like technically yes it was, but not really.

Also my example was Rogan and Spotify, Rogan is Spotify's biggest podcast. Doesn't make him doing something a reflection of "Spotify" doing something...at least Imo. Barstool is portnoy, big cat, and gambling...

Correct. I only post what I know or info I’m confident in. After ESD I posted Colorado was a legit threat even though I laughed at that a couple weeks before. I also said they had somebody on staff very connected to Lakeland and close to the Mcclain situation. Said coach was bragging about getting CM to push his decision back.

Later on I posted I didn’t like where it was trending but Imo it wasn’t over. Btw respect to @STG , he flat out said he wasn’t coming. I heard that as well but with all the bad info with this recruitment the last six months I wasn’t comfortable being that definitive. The Miami staff believed it was still going to be UM. The longer this played out the harder it got to read , not just for UM but even people close to the recruitment. Another red flag in long list of them.

Like anything there’s more to the story and Miami could‘ve handled some things better but Imo this kid wasn’t coming after he didn’t sign that Friday. He was literally telling kids at LHS “he wanted to shock everyone”. The staff and Gaby blew that up though.

So has Gaby earned enough credit for that move to not get **** on constantly for being "against Miami" or whatever? Like was that a move Miami wanted him to make and he complied (to his benefit of course)

I’ve never gotten the distain.

Is he conservative as ****? Sure , but he’s in a lose lose. If he lays his nuts out and is wrong he’ll get destroyed, if he’s conservative he gets destroyed lol. Unlike other writers there he’s at least pro UM for the most part.

Good luck to Cormani. If he felt he made the best decision for himself, tough to argue against that. The entire recruitment from the moment he announced to Miami was bizarre. He’s also a bizarre kid. The only beef I have with him is how he used Miami to drum up drama for his eventual decommitment. He’s out there flashing the U everywhere, wearing gear like he’s all ‘Cane and then he does some corny ***, weird *** commitment video with Colorado which he knew he was going to do all along. The dude acts all shy and secretive but had no trouble trolling the **** out of the program. Not a good look for anyone from his camp.

I would’ve liked him to have been a Cane. But I’m not invested enough to say I hope he doesn’t succeed in the future. Would it make a difference if UM only spent $1 on his recruitment? Would you still feel the same way? So no, Im not ok with how he handled it but I’m not gonna let that get in the way of what he can be 10 years from now. I work with inner-city kids so I look at it differently. Kids can be real ******** but most of them will be better people down the line.
