Put it like this, if the conferences added a Ref in the booth to assist the refs on the field in real time so that they don't have egregious misses, do you think that is better for the sport or worse? I think it's better.

There was no DPI on that play, period.

I think its good but that wouldnt come into play on that. Ref in the booth is to help with incomplete/complete passes......where the ball should be spotted...etc Not for penalties

IIRC they never “announced” the penalty. The immediately reviewed the play for a TD and then said no knee was down it’s a TD and no foul for illegal block.
