That’s an impressive list. Quite a few Heisman Trophy winners and good/great NFL QB’s over the years.

For the ****** life of me, I don't get what him in particular and Cashman to a lesser extent, must have on the Steinbrenner family that allows either of them to still have a job! Is Hal just that much of a cuck? Guarantee George is gonna haunt him for what he's done to his beloved Yankees. I would've fired Boone at worst, three years ago.

Drives me nuts. Similarly to how we analyze (overanalyze) things here with Miami coaches... you watch the games play out for the Yankees - decision making, base running, inability to do things, etc... and it is maddening... and unless he is arguing with the umpire, he looks lost in key situations....

Last night was an example late the game with Jazz on first and not stealing with 2 outs, Volpe's recent inability to bunt the baseball, etc... Now, in game live that may not be in the minute on Boone, BUT the Yankees are statistically the worst base running team in the league (from a stat in game last week), so it is a pattern... and the playoffs are 2 weeks from now.... VOLPE, of all people, needs to be able to bunt when needed... he should be practicing that right now, and then again later and then later after that... (twice this week he couldn't get the bunt down -- like Willie Mays Hayes in Major League popping the ball up)

Last night, they won, because well ... Soto and the A's..... But there have been games the last few years they have given away doing what we are discussing above...

And YES... I have heard and said the same thing about the Boss... the Boss would have fired Boone at least once this year ...this season alone..

Madness and now I am fired up already before I drive back to Tampa shortly.
