Do with this information what you will.
Great post as this is something I have been wanting the staff to start doing and that is to get their A$$es into Texas to recruit QBs! And while they are there it wouldn't hurt to recruit other positions as well!

The fact Texas hasn't won more championships is the real problem. They have money, location and fan support and they haven't won a ship since Vince Young.
100% far from what's gone on in that time frame. Texas ****ed off there money crowd when they hired Charlie Strong. Charlie told me a story himself & I knew a few others from that circle. Long and the short they didn't have the support of their higher tier good ole boys network when they made that hire and as a result the majority of them turned their backs on the university. Until nil & Sarkasian came along they stayed home to prove a point. When that kind of money pulls it's support it can be tough to get over

I just drove from Corpus to Tampa the other day. Other than the amount of deer I saw what struck me is the size of the high school football stadiums in Texas. These things bigger than most smaller D1 and lower college stadiums. It’s a whole other level in that state. I can’t think of any in Florida that compare to the smallest one I saw! My son goes to CCC and theirs is beautiful but maybe 1/4 the size of the smallest one I saw.

Coaching is better in Texas, offenses are more advanced and as a result their QBs are more prepared for the next level.

Florida is the pinnacle for raw talent, athleticism, and playmaking. Texas develops their players better at the HS level and their playbooks are more advanced.

All these poRsters in here whining about how Miami never recruits these elite Texas QBs.

Are we just supposed to sit here and act like Kirby Freeman, Taylor Cook, and Peyton Matocha never existed? Smh.
got to get the good ones, the ones who are gifted dont care if Golden coached them. If they elite sign them
