Texas fans want Golden

Alabama would pay whatever needed to keep Saban. He is a God there.
 
Pittsburgh might move Tomlin out if he has a bad year. I Hope golden is here for the long haul, but I dont know.
 
LULZ at the idea that Texas can just take whoever they want because they have money. How many HCs has UM lost to other colleges? Smart HCs know they can win just as much here as anywhere and make a great living in the process. Will they make $6M/year? Probably not. But he can be paid like a top 10 HC and win NCs. If The Don's goes anywhere it's to the NFL.
 
Art Briles is who they need, done a great job reviving the Baylor program with one of the best offenses in the nation.

Fart Briles is scary smart with what he does offensively. I remember him bringing a total horseshyt Houston team in to play us and running circles around us. He had us chasing our tails.

this right here, Art at Texas would be scary. I was looking around the other day and I think Texas may be the richest school on earth with an endowment of 7 BILLION, and they don't mind spending it on sports, their coordinators were making a million years ago when that was just unheard of. Gary Patterson at TCU would also be a homerun

Nobody is out of reach for Texas. Having said that, I think Saban and Golden (how odd to have them in the same sentence in terms of job, no offense to Al) are off limits, as are Kelly, O'Brien at PSU and Urban. Can't ever see UT hiring the OU coach but, after those guys.....

I expect UT will think Briles is a little old for what they want, but I think he'd be great. More interesting possibilities are Sumlin, Strong (he'll get so much buzz if they run the table), Dabo (similar situation with a one loss or so team) and maybe even Les Miles or Jimbo. You have to wonder how both parties feel about Muschamp back to UT. If Fedora really is in play, you have to think he would be a USC target as well, as would Mike Gundy. Wouldn't shock me if he was UT's guy at the end of the day. Now THAT will be a bidding war.
 
only time I'll be worried about him leaving is after we get #6. Then the NFL will come begging

boy you aint lying, and Butch would take that gig in a second. 5 mill a year and a mill a year for each coordinator, Stoops would have a nervous breakdown
