I was also at the Heritage game and this is a ridiculous statement to make. He looked good out there. He's a guard, he doesn't need to flash the same type of athletic talent as a tackle. With that being said, Slaton was playing real well, pulled well and held his own against a very good BTW Dline.

Kai Leon Herbert was also doing a good job out there, looked really athletic and strong, didn't allow much pressure on the qb. Telfort was an animal out there, didn't give up any pressure for the entire game. He's developed a lot this last year and is learning how to play tackle to the best of his ability, kid needs to be a cane.

Agree with you that Telfort looked very good and it is true that guards don't need to move like tackles but when they did have Slaton lining up at tackle he was getting burned. Heritages QB was being pressured all night. Booker T d looked very impressive
 
Sounded like Telfort was the best of the 3, and Miami has the best shot with him. Stampini said that Slaton didn't really look that good besides some snaps at DT where he flashed.
 
Still waiting for the "Slaton is the best LT in South Florida for this class" squad to show up and defend him

Haven't been paying much attention to Telfort's recruitment. As a Gator commit, do most people see him as likely to flip? Any backstory?
 
Highly doubt Telfort will qualify unless they do some amazing work over there at Booker T....

He sucked in high school.. he can't run...ran a 5 flat 40 last spring .. He had sucky offers

At this time last year [MENTION=1396]blackvern[/MENTION] and [MENTION=4597]Paranos[/MENTION] were disguising the type of skill Dallas Crawford brought to the table and how good of a tackler he was, so take the things he says with a grain of salt.

He sucks? Everytime i read about him he has a pick. Ive heard he's shown flashes for a freshman.

I think we should see how the players respond to real coaching before we start saying they suck or whatever....They never had a chance under the last regime.
