Talk lately has me a little nervous about 2020 football season. Thoughts?

Do you think we will play football in 2020?

So he's lying?

1) Maybe
2) If he isn't..BIG F[]CKING DEAL

Even if what he describes is accurate, it simply isn't the larger experience across the entire cohort.

The data, the actual observations, refute EVERYTHING his post implies across the board in terms of the larger picture.

Guess what, here is another "friend" observation. One of my close ones was a product line chief aboard USNS Comfort as she deployed to NYC. Toured every single "overwhelmed" NYC hospital. Said most of their chaos was self inflicted and mismanaged because they refused to do regional load balancing--even when offered XX-EVAC military assets (AERO, CASE and MED) to do so. Also said loss of life, while tragic, wasn't quite what media wanted you to believe.

Is she lying?

Are all the emergency field hospitals that have been torn down because they saw 1 patient with a stubbed toe and pinky boo boo lies too?

Take your beta hysteria to the COVID forum.

Go Canes--let's talk football!

Despite the minority locked up at home feeding off the hysteria things are progressing. Back to reality is the goal for most of us. Day by day we're getting clarity on the situation. The totalitarians had their run and it seems like it failed once again.

This is the problem. Most of the people who either think this is a Hoax or a Flu don't know or haven't had it so they don't take it seriously. My buddy who's a cop for Chicago PD had it and was in the hospital for 2 weeks. When he was leaving he saw the body bags lined up. He said the hospital looked like a scene out of a movie with people everywhere lined up that were sick. But hey it's easier to blame the Government or Bill gates.

Exactly.

****, man, three weeks! Glad you’re better and thanks for sharing.

Thanks bro

But there’s a missing part to this, as well: prior to me getting sick, my lungs was exposed to a jet fuel explosion months before. Legit had a 70 yr old smoker’s cough. Never got rid of it; then in January, they said I tested positive for the flu, but the flu shot was useless b/c it was a different strand. So since my lungs already became compromised, it could be the flu made it much worst. They still want to re-test to make sure it was indeed the flu back in January, but it could be a combo between the two.

Interesting you say that because when the data showed we were supposed to have 200-300 thousand deaths everyone said it was a lie. Now that Data is showing way less the data is true. It's an agenda based world I see.

You should know...

I don't think you follow how this works.

Reasonable people were very suspicious of hundreds (even millions!) of projected deaths. The data, even at that time, no way supported that arc and narrative no matter how loudly hystericals and chicken littles screamed.

The "we are all going to die!" calls were, and remain, wholly based in irrational beta behaviors.

The data that has been emerging, since the beginning, can be summed up thusly:
- Actual infections are orders of magnitude higher than testing
- Death rate for 99.999% of GLOBAL population is no where near 1%
- Death rate for co-morbidity patients is higher than normal influenza (remains to be seen actuals--perhaps as high as 3%-5%)
- Social distancing measures APPEAR to be significantly less effective at "prevention" than originally thought
- 33 MILLION people, as of this morning, have filed for unemployment..FFS...a million deaths still won't equal the carnage this number is, and will continue to cause

So, again friend, I ask you to think through your statement, realize it wasnt well thought out, and take this to the COVID OT forum.

Normal life will hopefully start returning in major ways by mid-June, if not sooner.

Even the shameless hystericals and chicken littles cant bear the heat of this foolishness.

As we continue to move forward in this debacle. The Nfl has set preliminary protocols to open up their facilities. I applaud them for the proactive approach.

I just read 50% of the Worlds active cases are in the US?

China stuck it in our *** on this one, well played.....

Thanks bro

Holy fvck. Thank God you're still here, man.

Are you good now, or still feeling effects? No lie, I'm about the last one to advocate for suing people (I've had my chances with some DEEP pocket entities, but that's not me), but if there was anything about that jet fuel explosion that Morgan & Morgan could latch on to, your story sounds like walking gold.

So as someone who had it would you consider it a "common cold" or "just the flu" type illness?

TIA

To be fair, while we like to think everyone else in the world is much like us (and on an individual basis, we are all the "same", but the societal differences are great), the fact of the matter is that living standards here are MUCH higher than other places in the world. The two other countries in the world more populous than us, India and China, don't have anywhere near the number of reported cases that we do. But, I'm not sure how much meaning there is to their numbers. China is completely bogus and full of ****, while India has a MASSIVE gap in living standards and no way do they have adequate/accurate testing and data gathering across their entire population in that caste system society.

The next most populous first world democracy after the US is Germany, at 72M vs our 345M. So, the results are not really surprising when put into that context.

But yeah, China stuck it in far, good, hard, and without warning or lube. Not just in us, but the entire world.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed Japan, with 111M people. I honestly don't know what the story there is, but they have done a REMARKABLE job based on the reported numbers. Very different culture than US and western Europe, though.

Germany has been testing at quite a higher rate than we have. I'm sure some countries are full of crap and some lack testing but for whatever reason when I read 50% of ALL ACTIVE REPORTED CASES were in the US it kinda surprised me.

Definitely no common cold....it felt more pneumonia than flu b/c it was hard to catch my breath. The sore throat & coughing was by far the worst thing I’ve experienced in recent memory.
