Guy on the rivals main board claims the NCAA has made its decision on Miami. States 9 scholarships ,three per year, no bowl ban. Basketball team will loose ships as well. Sanctions will be announced in three weeks. Again take this with a grain of salt. Just passing on what I just read.

Too good to be true.

I'd ******* go buy actual rollerblades and skate my way around the entire cot**** city.

Maybe so truth to this with the TCU hiring of Shannon. The one thing I have a hard time with is why three weeks to announce?

False. The NCAA first issues a notice of allegations and gives the school a chance to state their case at a hearing. Sanctions are typically announced about eight weeks later.

Gotta get the Notice of Allegations first which hasn't happened yet. its BS.

The PSU case showed notice of allegations don't have to be given. The NCAA has been at Miami forever and maybe they worked this deal out and agreed to it without NOA. May be true and may not be true.

That is the normal process. The University may be working so closely with the NCAA that the normal process may be a formality. We may just waive our rights and take a negotiated penalty. My guess though is this guy is full of ****. Hopefully he's not.

He claims Miami will not receive a LOIC. That Miami has accepted and will not object to the penalties.

This is B.S.

Not buying it. Not even loading up a skate gif for this news because it's too good to be true.

The PSU situation was unprecedented. Also, the Freeh report had done all the investigating necessary. The NCAA had no need to conduct their own investigation thus there was no wait for sanctions. Totally different situations.

The said poster is one of the most delusional Canes on the MB. Also it's grade of slaw OP, not grain of salt.

BS! Every case is different. The guy is claiming there is no bowl ban and 9 losses of scholies. Miami worked closely with the NCAA self imposed a bowl ban and we all know Shapiro and Charles Robinson are weasels to begin with. **** our student athletes were slapped on the wrist last year over a few grand of free dinners, jerseys, and drinks. There wasn't one case that really made anybody say WOW! The whole thing was nothing more than hyped up BS from a conman and a sleazy journalist that makes all journalists look bad.

This has been ongoing for 18 months. Would it really surprise anybody if Miami agreed to a slap on the wrist to get this **** put behind them so they can move on already?

Why wouldn't they give us a bowl ban if we already SELF-IMPOSED a bowl ban?

The OP makes NO SENSE. At least without the three week part if would have been at least a decent troll attempt.

I know Renstamm and Fat Nick aren't to be trusted but I am patiently awaiting the slap on the wrist. Something tells me the NCAA knows exactly what kind of trash Shapiro is. If Randy told the players and coaches to stay away and the program hired an investigator then there is no way there is LOIC. The players were suspended last season and Miami paid back all monies. Everything points to a slap rather than USC like sanctions IMO.

We'll see...
