I want Guidry to play an aggressive defense. Blitz. Get after the QB like Pitt did 41-13. That was McCord's wost game. He threw for 327 yards, but had 5 INTs. He's not very mobile and will get rattled with pressure.

Syracuse can't run the ball. Syracuse is 127th in rushing. Once spot ahead of FSU by the way. So, just tackle the RB on the way to the QB if needed. Syracuse can be dominated with the right defense. If Miami chooses to play soft, then McCord will rack up 400+ in a shootout.

I want to see a statement game heading into the ACC title game. Dominate Syracuse like the last 3 quarters of the WF game (0 points defense). Be dominant, and it doesn't matter who the QB is.

I've watched a bit of Syracuse and although I think it'll be a good challenge, I wasn't gnawing at my fingernails 'til I read through most of these posts lol. Realized the anxiety was ramping up by page 3. I think the O sustaining a long drive this past game is part of the scheme for this upcoming game and hopefully vs SMU. I think they showcased we too can manage a long *** drive and we can run all over you at will. Keep this Defense fresh and pin their ears back, a rattled McCord trips over himself. Go Canes.
