It’s funny how people talk about all these complex offenses and how difficult it is to prepare for opponents now. Folks, it really isn’t that difficult at all. It always was, always has been, and always will be about controlling/dominating the line of scrimmage. Can I get to your QB, and can I keep you from getting to mine? That’s it. This is why, for all his warts, I still have faith in Mario because he understands this concept. He’s done an amazing job acquiring talent on the O-Line and D-Line and eventually, hopefully, it will pay off.

it wasnt for you
It wasn't for 80% of the people watching the Super Bowl half time show either. Kendrick Lamar's music is geared for Gen Z & Alphas, of which those generational groups don't spend money to sit in seats at Super Bowls or for the most part buy the products that are promoted during the Super Bowls. The NFL needs to have "Generational" artists to preform at the half time shows that have endured the test of time. The top 15 Super Bowl half time shows all include these type of artists, except for the Dr. Dre & friends half time show. @HurricanesR1

All of that just to say "I didn't get it, and I wish that they would have found someone that either is not Black, pretends that they aren't Black(but is), or turns it down considerably, so middle America doesn't crap their pants." I remember my father once saying about Snoop "They put him in commercials now, because he isn't dangerous anymore, he's acceptable to middle America, because he's been neutered. The Snoop that I remember, would have massacred this version"

K.Dot is still dangerous and in a proud tradition dating back to the Doors, he went and did his set and obviously doesn't care about the consequences. I think the NFL thought he would wuss out and not take any stands, and he told them to kick rocks, which is something that has been missing from music for a long, long time.

For the first time in well, ever, the Super Bowl halftime show wasn't designed for middle(IE White) America, and we are seeing people flip out because of it. It's almost like K.Dot did this ON PURPOSE. Think about it, he intentionally left out some of his biggest hits, and replaced them with deep cuts. The one major hit he left in was a diss track, that makes fun of arguably the biggest pop rapper of the last twenty years. It's almost like he was intentionally saying "I'm not going to do what you tell me to do, I'm going to run this my way, and if you don't like it, oh the F well".

Somebody check on Drake. Oh my lord.

He killed him. Again. For the third time.
STOP IT, HE'S ALREADY DEAD!!!!!

The fact you went race card out the gate says alot.... He doesn't have freewill to play whatever he wants at the show... The NFL controls everything that happens out there to the smallest detail.... Anything that happens during the show happens because the NFL said it could happen....
But again you started your post going race card and finished the same way... Says a lot about your true motive....

don't ever yap about mahomes being the goat ever again lmao
Long way to go so it shouldn’t have been a discussion in the first place - too soon.

He’s got time to make a run at TB12 but he needs at least 3 more Super Bowls imo to make it a real conversation. Losing doesn’t disqualify him as TB12 lost twice

Brady was 7-3... Mahomes has plenty of time to catch him... Will he?? I dunno... It's a tough climb but he's still young enough to do it...

This has clearly shifted from talking about the game to debating halftime show and its governance….so, why not…

I for one didn’t enjoy the halftime show - if we’re going to go hip-hop genre then imo it should be someone that can change gears with song selections (Drake/Pharrell) or go with someone that can truly entertain like the Missy Elliott’s of the day. Could even do a collaboration of Hip-Hop/R&B so you’re reaching multiple sectors of fans and all can enjoy.

The Michael Jackson SB shows are a thing of the past but we certainly can do better than a flat out Rap concert or a Country Music Festival……ideally a great halftime show is a well-blended show that lies somewhere in the middle

brady lost three times by a combined score of 15, mahomes lost twice with a combined score of 40

there was never a discussion to begin with

Kendrick Lamar called one of the biggest popstars in the industry a pedophile on company ground and insulted the president with Samuel L. Jackson playing "Uncle Sam".

Keep believing the NFL controlled **** here. If they tried, K-Dot would've dropped out with zero issue. He didn't need to do the Super Bowl show, he chose to do so because he can.

You still don't get it, and never will. You really think the NFL was cool with the whole stadium calling Drake a sexual deviant? You really think that the NFL was fine with Kendrick calling out the hypocrisy of not only the league, but our entire country on GLOBAL TV? Stop it. They were likely hoping that he would do what he did when he performed with Dre, do some hits, and keep it moving. K Dot basically did the polar opposite, and he knew he had the NFL up against the wall. What were they going to do? Fire him a week before the show?

Then again, the same people whining about this halftime show, are the same people begging for a drug addled Lil Wayne to perform. We know why and it sure as **** doesn't have anything to do with "It's in New Orleans". They love clowns, K Dot isn't anyone's clown and he proved it with this halftime show. It's not for everyone, but hip hop once upon a time wasn't for everyone, it was a revolutionary art form that spoke to things that the mainstream wanted to pretend didn't exist. Then as is the case with most art worth a ****, Corporate America got involved and here we are.

No doubt - it was for our dumbass society that enjoys noise like that. I, myself, prefer musicians and talent.
You called Kendrick Lamar in the same sentence with autotune, I think everyone can blissfully ignore your position on what good music is.

Reminds me of when the Doors did the Ed Sullivan Show and straight up lied when they asked them to change the lyrics to "Light My Fire". After the show when the band was informed that they would never be invited back to the show, Morrison said "We just DID the Ed Sullivan show". It had that same vibe.

You know, it's possible to not like a performance because you can't understand a single word and it's just a bunch of noise and jumping around.

America would be better if buffoons like yourself would throw away their race cards any time someone non-white gets criticized.
