It’s amazing to me how many people I come across in my daily travels who have zero interest in the stock market when I mention it to them. Heck, most of them don’t even pay attention to their 401K. They would rather waste their money on the lottery every day(poor man’s tax). Quick story: Roughly 15 years or so ago my dad bought about 3-5 grand in Apple stock and parlayed that into almost 300k. So for those that think it’s impossible or can’t be done, it absolutely can. Sadly his health deteriorated so bad in the last year that he panicked and cashed out(he passed away in September), but I like to tell this story to people who are on the fence about investing. If he could do it, anybody can.
