so we hire DC based on getting Stevenson huh?

not to ensure that we keep our same exact scheme and level of defensive efficiency being a top 2 defense in the country.

so although banda and patke know our defense the way manny ran it and will continue to do the same... we failed because we might miss on stevenson

lmao you guys are ridiculous

we missed on plenty of people to bama the last few years, did they have a better defense than we did the last two years? i didn't think so

So you think you get the exact same defense because we hired 2 of Diaz’s valets?

P. S. Anyone with a brain and a downhill philosophy can kill it here. You guys act like Diaz brought something here that we never had. We’ve been doing what he did and better since the 80s with the exception of Folden and a couple years under Booch.

Plenty of qualified guys with much better resumes run an attacking 4-3 defense. We didn’t have to promote Banda and Patke for that. Are you serious? Richt promoted them to try and keep this class together and stop the avalanche of bad news.

No but we did turn over reigns to two totally inexperienced coaches. One who was a quality control guy a year ago. Getting a top recruiter/coach with experience would've been better. The scheme isn't pocket science. Play aggressive with south Florida talent
 
We will figure out what we have in the DCs when we go against FSU with Briles as OC. In the meanwhile, we did not bring them in specifically for Rique. And they will prove whether or not they are “Manny worthy” based upon their in game adjustments (something I felt like he excelled at).

Thank God I don't have Instagram. Would make want to puke. I'd love to play him down the line and have Amari Carter, Gurvan Hall or Gil lay him out. I don't wish the kid any harm; but I'd seeing him counting U's on the sideline just before going into the tent would be precious.
