Stephen Morris's last drive....

We know the kid has the goods. He just threw for 436 yards in an incredible game. And I'm glad he led us to victory today. He will practice on his slant routes (way too many into the ground) and it will become a weapon for this team. No Williams talk this week please.

dude has a lot to work on mechanics and consistency wise but I think Fisch is the guy to get him there. Morris still makes lots of pull your hair out kinda throws

****. Being at the game, I didn't know he had that many yds. He had alot of bad throws too. Missed a few wide open guys. He coulda had over 500.

He just needs to settle down sometimes. The OL was great but Morris sometimes was rushing when he didn't have to.

He's god awful. Those were all basic throws and Davon's YAC really made the difference. He missed on a ton of big plays today.

He both missed and made a lot of throws. He has work to do, but he's far from an awful QB. And on the last drive he was pretty much perfect. Should do a lot for his confidence.

Still riding with Morris. He bounced back nicely in my eyes. Yeah he had some of the same mistakes but I'll be damned to say he proved he's not as bad as y'all are screaming..

That plays where Dorsett was wide open 2 yards away and Morris made him dive for the ball tells us everything we need to know.

Very basic fifth-highest passing game in UM history. Start Williams.

C'mon bro, he's not a good QB.

I stand by what I've said: he will be the highest drafted Canes QB in more than two decades.

Today was billed as a defining game for him and he delivered. All he heard for weeks was that he couldn't hit a long ball. Then he goes out and connects on a 65-yard TD on the first drive.

They said he didn't have "it," then he goes and leads the team on a 92-yard two minute drive.

He definitely left too many throws on the field. He can still improve a ton and I look forward to watching it.

No they don't. Despite those crappy, ****** plays, he still completed 60% of his passes for over 400 yards. That doesn't happen without him doing a lot right.

This^^^ Morris' upside is higher than ANY of his detractors realize. And he's still kind of early in his development. This SHOULD be his Sophomore year, but we had jack squat for depth two years ago.

This is exactly why Miami fans have a bad rep. Dude plays a lights out game in a hostile environment and we got people saying he's terrible. Ridiculous.
