What other position is Bell supposed to play lol
He played LT all season
He played LT all season
McCoy wasn’t that good. The o-line was better when rivers went to guard and McCoy came out. I saw the guy getting man handled by Jackson in the fsu game. Pff ain’t the end all be all but I don’t think he graded out well eitherIn his first full year as a starter McCoy allowed 11 pressures and just one sack on the year. There was five straight games in which McCoy did not allow either a sack or a pressure in 2024.
So in 822 career snaps he has given up just 12 negative players in the passing game. From a pass blocking stand point McCoy is the best IOL on this roster and it's not even close.
He was a high school tightened ,so he needed more time to gain the size and strength to be a force in the run game but he still held his own in the run game in the 2024 season. All reports have been that he is much better and stronger this season and if that is true, there isn't a IOL on this roster, outside of Cooper, who should be on the field over McCoy.
He didn't, none of them do, but if you get beat out at CB and their is a real shot at S. I am guessing his brother's situation was a learning lesson for them. I think and hope he ends up at S. Staying healthy is looking like a real issue, though. I am not betting on Patterson starting this season, either.I don't have an issue with that all but wasn't it reported that Brown doesn't want to play safety...that's why I mentioned Lucas
Big, fast, physical...I know a few others on CIS has posed that before as well
Wasn’t his brother a 5* that played at Alabama?Still can't believe there's a Brockermeyer playing anywhere other than Texas.
Their ENTIRE family went to Texas, like multiple generations back. I'm talking Mom, Dad, Uncles Aunts, Grandparents & Great Grandparents on both sides of the family etc..
Yes, his twin & him both committed to Bama coming out of HS, that's what broke the legacy chain.Wasn’t his brother a 5* that played at Alabama?
Wow, didn’t realize that was his twinYes, his twin & him both committed to Bama coming out of HS, that's what broke the legacy chain.

Love the overreaction based off of one rep in the warmup section of practice
And just as importantly, retain all our key guys.Man if Mario can get a few more strong spring additions like he did in 2024 this could be another fun year
Careful, the people that don't like others being happy a guy is recovering from a major injury might jump on you for bringing this up lolSo SIAP,
But been skimming through the reports and Wallace is practicing and moving around just fine? Is that correct? I know this is no pads but he hasn’t been limited at all?
I agree wholeheartedly. He’s definitely not strolling into the CB room this year with much cache or leverage so he’s going to have to earn it or move…health has not been good for him either so spot on with that.He didn't, none of them do, but if you get beat out at CB and their is a real shot at S. I’m not questioning the validity of what you wrote, but where did you get those numbers? PFF?In his first full year as a starter McCoy allowed 11 pressures and just one sack on the year. There was five straight games in which McCoy did not allow either a sack or a pressure in 2024.

Ages? Kam and JJ were both All American safeties before whatever tf happened last year lol.Hadn’t had a safety like that in ages (assuming he performs the way we think)
who is coaching special teams? Some notes from 247:
-Safeties and nickels are working on their communication and alignment when offenses motion receivers or tight ends. Poyser doing a great job in this drill.
-On half field 7v7:
-Quickly getting chippy on LOS. Tough to gauge without pads but offensive line doing a good job getting push on DL
-Trader burns Karnley deep. Nice ball from Emory. Dylan Day picks off Judd Anderson on a bad read
Minor scuffle breaks out ignited by some big time physicality from Bobby Pruitt
Good energy with the offensive line vs defensive line during inside run drill…much calmer now with special teams work
what about damari? In this case, Ethan O'Connor comes off the bench.. I'm not arguing with you (this is a good problem) but I don't think there are 2 better CBs on the roster better than him
Between OJ and a healthy Brown, and our transfer additions (O'Connor, Poyser, Lucas, and Brantley) we will have a legit competition in out DB room.
To me, if Xavier Lucas can play SS/Star/Boundary Safety (whatever you want to call it) this defense could be special.
I think/hope we start the season looking like this..
CB - O'Connor
CB - OJ
SS - Lucas
FS - Poyser
Nickel - Brantley
