So....what's the goal of flying the banner?

We've had some ****ing retards come through this board...let me tell you.

Those of us that have been around since the Grassy days have witnessed the utter stupidity of the bomb's, the brock's, the Original Canes Fan, and the Canes4Life's of the world.

But this ****ing ****** is approaching those levels. Explain to me how in the flying **** you could possibly criticize ANYONE who CARES enough about the ****ING program to pay MONEY OUT OF THEIR OWN ****ING POCKETS to simply relay their opinion that the school is being run into the ground by incompetent ******** who don't care about the program.

We’re not worrying about what the fans are saying. We’re not worrying about the negative messages. We want to go in there and make changes, help bring The U back. That’s what we want to do. Thank you. I definitely appreciate the insights that you bring as the parent of not just any recruit, but a high-level, highly-sought after recruit. Thankfully you clearly understand that the very vocal, disruptive, and immature actions of a certain segment of the fanbase does not represent all of the fans. But unfortunately the loud and obnoxious minority are what many of the parents and recruits see upfront and center, and they are left with the impression that these are the types of "fans" they would be spending their college career playing for and dealing with.

Regardless, rather than the anti-banners promoters pleading with a bunch of disgusted fans [as myself] because of the undeserved retention of Al Golden, why not fund your own banner to express: ``UM fans say Go Canes!" and if you all are so inclined then go all out and say "Go Al". I'm the parent of a very high ranked sought after recruit. I can't tell you much, all I will say is he is a 5 star running back quarterback receiver hybrid.

Unfortunately he is going to attend Alabama. We only spoke about it once, but it has nothing to do with winning championships or developing under proper coaches. He chose Alabama because "miami fans have yucky potty mouths, and they fly mean banners. If they were nicer to their coaches, I would be a cane."
